As you probably already know, there is a frenzy for the $99 and $149 HP Tablets. The thread in the Hot Deals is breaking records for number of posts and viewers.

Did you get one? How many (so far)? Doesn't matter how many are confirmed, just how many you ordered.

Are they for an Orphanage? laugh out loud

I ordered 2. One from HP SMB and one from Onsale via Amazon. Hoping one of these will be fulfilled. I only need 1 of these so the other will be sold on CL for a small profit to hopefully pay for a cover, screen protector and stylus. :-)

I wound up ordering 4, trying to get a 32GB for me and a 16GB for the Mrs.:

1) In person from PC Richard in NY on Saturday morning. Credit card charge went through, waiting to see if it ships from the warehouse. I'm doubful.

2) Ordered from Best Buy, selected In-Store Pickup on Sat. night. Picked it up today! Miracles do happen.

3) Ordered from K-Mart.com at full price. No shipping confirm, but I ordered it a full price on Sat. night, as well. I got the price match applied today.

4) Ordered from BN.com at full price on Sat. night. Not sure what happened there. I'm in the same boat as everyone else in terms of status, but no cancellation notice yet. Very doubtful on this one.

I think the Kmart one will come through, so I met my goal. It will be interesting to see what happens...

I cant wait till all of you buggers who bought 5, 6, 10, 30 or 100 of these things thinking only about reselling them get screwed because the profit margin goes from $$$ to $.

A lot of real people who legitimately would use them couldnt buy any.

That being said, money is money and this is slickdeals. What else should one expect.
