As you probably already know, there is a frenzy for the $99 and $149 HP Tablets. The thread in the Hot Deals is breaking records for number of posts and viewers.

Did you get one? How many (so far)? Doesn't matter how many are confirmed, just how many you ordered.

Are they for an Orphanage? laugh out loud

I have one in my hands and one more that is expected to arrive soon. I ordered two hoping to get one. I planned on canceling the other one if I got one locally. By the time I got back, I could no longer cancel the second one.

Ordered a 16GB from BN 2 am Monday; got cancellation e-mail 7pm that night.
Ordered a 32GB from Macmall 3:30 am Monday; just checked per instructions on the Wiki. Shipped last night, will be here Thursday. They still have not refunded shipping charge as they promised.
Tried to order from Insight per SD post with link from a forum on cheapassgamer yesterday morning. Kept getting kicked off when I would submit the order, then have to re-log or add to cart in over and over. Finally gave up
Ordered 2 16GB from SMB yesterday morning when someone posted a shopping cart hack(?). They went through, but I put in the order number to the FedEx site and nothing comes up. Since the wiki says only the orders from the weekend are going through, this will probably be cancelled, although they still charged me 257 dollars.

So, to sum up - in the theoretical, ordered 4, will probably get one.

I would like to apologize to SDers whose posts on their multiple orders in the hopes of getting just one made my eyes roll all weekend. You guys know your stuff and understood the odds a lot better than I did.

Congrats on SD making CNN. Hope the publicity doesn't destroy you like it did the Black Friday website.

Thanks once more to all the posters who contributed and compiled information that helped me get one; it would've been nice to get a second one for my adult son, who commutes and needs to travel light, but my students are going to be thrilled when I use this as an incentive to access math quizzes and spelling games online.

1 from Walmart Saturday morning. Was lucky to get one since some Chinese guy came and bought all but one. It's a 32gb
2 from HP SMB. Received those yesterday. Both 32gb
1 from HP through EPP. Supposedly shipped, but still not received. Again another 32gb.

I would still like to pick up a few for some friends and family.

My tally was ordering 8 total from stores like HP SMB, B&N, Best Buy, OnSale thru Amazon, and MacMall. Due to cancellations, ending up with 5 confirmed shipments thus far. The rest seem likely cancelled.

Credit and debit cards maxed out. Was on bread and water for a few days, only filling up my gas tank with 3 gallons to get to my destination.

I ordered through ebay, then cancelled that myself because they had my parent's address to ship to and I wanted in on the Amazon OnSale deal. I ordered on Amazon, which of course got cancelled. Doh. Wish I wouldn't have cancelled the ebay purchase.
