I had a midwife through my pregnancy - MUCH better. Next time the doctor/hospital scenario is going to be backup only.

Well I'm sure it's partly that, but also the general public is pretty uneducated about it, and want antibiotics for everything.

That combined with the laziness of many doctors, they'll just be like "whatever" and hand 'em out.

I think they should at least TRY to educate their patients and explain why antibiotics would be completely ineffective against a viral infection. Some don't even try though, they just get out the Rx pad, and that's when it's time to find a new doctor.

No it wasn't a miscarriage. The miscarriages were from before and after that pregnancy. Unfortunately we didn't get to know our little boy but for about half an hour on that particular pregnancy.

And not getting the D and C is bad, but getting it done improperly is worse.

Yeah...that's why you go to real doctors and take antibiotics. Quack doctors will kill you.

Always find out if the doctor you're seeing is up to date on his liscense and not some fly by night. Don't like what the doctor says? Get a second opinion. nod

We tried, but there wasn't any time to get a 2nd as the appointment was on a friday and we were in the hospital by Sunday morning.

Roll that's funny. In everything we have to find blessings. We'd only have 2 kids instead of 4 right now and no drive to adopt from overseas at all. If everything had worked out as we planned I don't think we'd be as happy. I mean.....Chuckles, Chubbs, and Wee Man wouldn't even be here!!!
