Well I'm exhausted after a few rounds with DW, too. It doesn't mean I don't want more sex. The exhaustion is oh so worth it whether it's from playing pokey or from taking care of kids. Kids are awesome.

I couldn't deal with a gaggle of kids. I always feel sorry for all the moms I see at the grocery store whose gagillion kids wont behave. That cures my baby fever.

They're doing it wrong then. When DW takes the kids to the store they all want to help. Kids should be taught that they are part of the family. They aren't there for the sole purpose of doing chores or the sole purpose of playing, but running the house is everyone's responsibility. There's a time for playing and a time to be productive. When laundry needs to be folded, the twinks love bringing the clothes from the drier to DW to fold. When it's bed time, the kids put all of their toys back in their respected baskets and put the baskets away.

No wonder I hate that stuff

Taking care of both my niece and my daughter makes me question whether I want more kids. My niece is so annoying
Me too! I've taken care of my niece 2-3 days every week this whole summer. OMG... it scares me I might get a kid like that if I have another. laugh out loud

I'm a little creeped out that you're comparing having kids to having sex... laugh out loud

We try not to give them anything if they don't absolutely need it. DS1 use to get stuff at the slightest hint of sickness, and it would stick with him for weeks. Chubs and Chuckles only get something if their fevers get too high. We've noticed that not giving them anything causes them to get better in a day or two. We only gave Wee Man something last night because his fever got over 102. When he finally fell asleep the damn old ass dog kept waking him up.
OMG dude, it was a joke. LMAO

I agree with you for sure. My niece is pretty badly behaved as well. It's not her fault, though. She's my brother's girlfriend's kid, (so she's not blood-related) who she had when she was 19, and since they have joint custody, she's shuffled around all week long. And of course at her dad's house, she can get away with whatever she wants. Which makes it really fun for those of us that have rules at our house! Crazylaugh

I've never heard anyone call their kids "twinks" before.
I'm supposing you don't know the slang connotation for that word?

I don't. Dontknow

We only call the twins twinks because they came in the same same package.

What's so far fetched about the relationship of sex to having kids? You have sex, and there's a pretty good chance kids will be in the future.

I'm a little scared of that. All the only children I've known have had some issues because of it.

Maybe I compartmentalize the two because I feel very different about having sex than I do having kids. Dontknow

I can see that. Women tend to think about sex (as a chore) differently than men (as a sport).

That is what some of my friends say. I am too. I am very close to my little sister.

There are other reasons that I don't want to try again.

I've been fortunate enough to have only been with women who don't think of it as a chore woot

After a couple of miscarriages and then losing DS2, we didn't want to try again either. But the fact is that none of those events changed the way we felt about each other unless you factor in that it made our marriage even stronger. We just decided that we would just stop trying and stop not trying, and if God was going to bless us it would be with or without kids. Then the twinks came and we really stopped trying. And then we had the wee man.

Uhhh, I don't know what kind of relationship you and your wife have, but if that's how your wife views sex, then maybe you need to learn some new moves... laugh out loud

I view HAVING KIDS as a chore.

Sex is the fun stuff... Evil

Yeah, that's what much of my family says. I'm really close with both of my brothers, and I just feel like having a sibling is important. Plus, more than anything, I want at least one more kid.

Maybe you don't look at it the same way I do. It should really be a daily activity to keep you in shape. Sometimes the "gym is closed" but there's no harm in trying to pick the lock.......until there is.
