written essay (250 words or less and a limit of 2MB file size, must submit a photo including the person entering the contest) to the question "If you could have a 2011 Explorer for a week in the U.S. with your family, where would you go and what would you do?"
beginning at 9:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 2/9/11 and ending at 11:59 PM ET on 11/15/11
You must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia (U.S.) who at time of entry is at least eighteen (18) years or older or of the age of majority in your state of residence
No limit to the number of submissions per person per email address.
FEATURED ENTRY EXPERIENCE AWARD: Any Entrant whose Submission was selected as a Featured Entry, will receive a trip for his/her family (up to six people) to participate in the production of select Ford Explorer advertising elements featured in the Submission ("Award Trip"). Award trip will be for winning Entrant and his/her family and friends to travel to a Sponsor-determined location and consists of round-trip, coach air travel from the major commercial airport nearest winners' residence to location The trip location, trip dates and length of travel is at the sole discretion of Ford. Winner and their family must travel on same itinerary. Trip companion must execute a Liability/Publicity Release. The maximum Approximate Retail Value of each trip is $4,000, which will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service as required by law. In the event that Ford decides not to utilize a selected Featured Submission for any reason and at any time, that winner will receive a cash award of $500 in lieu of the trip. The total maximum ARV of all trips (up to ten) is $40,000.

REVIEW OF SUBMISSIONS: Submissions will be reviewed by Ford and/or its agents as to the
1) CREATIVITY EXPRESSED ON HOW TO CREATE AN ADVENTURE WITH THE NEW 2011 FORD EXPLORER;
2) THE FEASIBILITY OF PRODUCING THE IDEA IN ANY ADVERTISING MEDIUM WITHIN FORD BUDGET RESTRICTIONS; and
3) CONSUMER APPEAL.
Throughout the Search Period, Ford will determine up to a maximum of ten (10) winners ("Featured Submission[s]"). There is no timeline for such determination; and if at any point during the Search Period ten (10) Featured Submissions have been determined and verified, the Search will end and notification of such termination will be posted at www.facebook.co
