1. I got married when I was 23 and then moved from Pennsylvania to South Carolina and I later got transferred to a newspaper in Virginia.
I still live in Virginia but I have moved since I last posted that thread. I bought my first home.
2. I thought chat forums were pretty stupid until I started reading the Lounge and was hooked.
Umm...I'm still here. I'm not as hooked as I used to be but that's because my RL has gotten busier.
3. Im a journalist but Im dyslexic
I'm not a journalist anymore, I'm in Public Relations. Sadly, I still struggle with being dyslexic.
4. Im into building up muscle mass but not too interested in watching my weight.
I've gotten bigger but now I'm trying to watch my weight. It's really hard to lose weight.
5. Ive never met my real father.
Still haven't met him.
6. One of my favorite writers is Frank Deford even though he thinks that women really shouldnt be in sports journalism.
I haven't read Frank in a while. Right now I don't have a favorite writer.
7. My mother is a writer with a degree in secondary English and my stepfather has worked at the same place for over 30 years. (He works in a steel mill)
This is still the same.
8. My ultimate career goal is to someday make enough money where my wife will not have to work and we can start a family.
I took a step in the right direction by accepting at the NRA. After a year of working here I plan to go back to school and get another BA. This time in Graphic Design.
9. My wife and I want to someday adopt a child from overseas.
This is still true. We'd like to first have a kid before we adopt. Those overseas baby's are expensive.
10. I can be a little shy when I first meet people but I am really a people person.
This is still the same.

A little of both.
Not true.

Now that you've admitted you're still married, I can safely say at this point in my illustrious Lounge career, I finally have the last mystery of the shims solved. You are not a shim. Whew! Yea, Mr. Ginny!
