When do you think you will be able to retire

Poll coming

At what age do you think you will be able to retire? I am curious to see how optimistic the SD community is.

SAHM directions Please indicate the age that you think your GTWD (go to work Dad) will be able to retire. I know most of you work hard during the day, but that's not what I am asking about Smilie

Never. Will never be able to afford it. But I'll be long dead before that time anyway.

Me never, unless I hire a maid.

Dh has a plan when he'll be able to by the time he's 50. He's a workaholic so I don't see that ever happening.

I figure I'll work part time starting in my mid 60s (only 20 years away) and will do that for 10 years or so, depending on how my health is at the time.

I picked 66-70. Unless the company forces me into early retirement and then am unable to find a job because I'm to old. Frown

Although if I find a sugar daddy, then I will retire way before then. laugh out loud

They'll have to retire me when I get Parkinson's, Alzheimer's or some other huge medical issue like a cancer that kicks my ass to the point of not being able to work...but being able to? Never. Stick Out Tongue

Never. I have a full house as it is, and we plan on adopting more. I'd have to be listed as a beneficiary to a lot of wills to be able to afford to retire.

Probably never, or not as long as we have a zero percent interest rate environment.
