Great deal! We bought this bike for my son a year and a half ago and paid $160 at Target. It's a great bike if you can find one at this price. It's very durable.

This is tempting to pick up at this price and resell on CL. I sold a 1980's Murray for $50 in no time and most bikes in my town are listed for at least $100, regardless of condition. One of the stores in town is showing limited availability.

It probably isn't a bad bike, especially at this price. If you take care of it I would expect several years of use. Granted, it probably wouldn't last as long as a higher brand, but those also cost 5 to 10 times as much as this clearance price. The main issue I have with steel frame bikes like this is the weight. If you are going to be moving it around at all that really makes a big difference. Hanging it on the wall or lifting it to load it in/on your car will be much more of a workout than one with an aluminum frame.

Thanks for the heads up OP... Any idea if there Women's bicycles on clearance? I've been waiting for the bike clearance in Target to kick off.... I picked up a Schwinn S-60 for $60 2 years back and man that is a great bike (disc brakes and all Smilie)... Now my girl desperately wants a bike and I just cannot bring myself to spend $300 on a bike she probably would ride once....

I missed out a few years ago on the schwinn deal...but got it this morning! Got the last one at the Shelby Twp., MI location. $63 after tax! Reg. $199. Would rep you ten times if I could! Repped! woot

3 out of 6 stores near me showed Limited Availability. Went to all 3 stores, 2 oos and got the last one in the 3rd store. Scan the UPC at Price Checker and you'll know the real inventory like:
1 in stock on Aisle 11-2-3
0 in stock in stockroom.
