The weeds are sprayed, the hedge is trimmed and cleaned up, and my shower felt fantastic. Best of all, I received my shipment of K-Ann's [hillcountryhomestyle.com] Habanero Dill Pickles after I got out of the shower. I know a certain orangutan (VQ) and another guy in Atlanta (PTSG) who are gonna be mighty happy to get their jars next week. Wife tested our jar and said the pickle was hot, but not TOO hot. I could hear the crunch when she bit into it, so they're pickled very well.

i was totally gonna get all cute and stuff...hey i was even gonna shower! and wear perfume!

i was gonna go to a local bar and watch Game 2. by myself, of course, but in that kinda atmosphere you always make friends. i was gonna be social and happy, have some beers, blah blah.

then i heard my wedding song in the background of some random movie on TV and just sat here on the couch sobbing for 20mins. now i'm still on my couch, in my underwear, with mascara streaks on my face and a game of scrabble on the laptop. looks like i'm staying in tonight!

my heart is heavy with my stuff, but also with some stuff a friend is going through. so tonight, it's random TV, online scrabble, a few cold beers, and some kitty snuggles.

Dinner tonight was at the Bar-B-Q King drive-in [barbqking.com]. Their take on BBQ chicken is to batter and deep-fry it, then dunk/soak it in their barbeque sauce. Wife had the BBQ chicken, I had the sliced pork sandwich. Both were very good, but I still prefer the Old Hickory House BBQ [google.com] on North Tryon Street.

Cucumbers, Water, Vinegar, Habaneros, Salt, Dill. No other preservatives, no alum, no nitrates, nothing.
