Ok I'm just worried about his wife.
I had a chuckle the other day. You know those online obituaries? In the guest book the first person who wrote was this totally crazy taxpayer lady who we couldn't stand. Wtf? People are wacky.
It must be really tough on his wife. I can't imagine losing hubby and knowing I won't see him everyday.
Didn't:
. mow the lawns.
. trim the hedges.
. clean out a room or closet.
. build any projects

. pet-sit a co-worker's Dachshund all weekend
. make dirty rice on Saturday.
. watch Atlanta Braves baseball Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

1 cup chicken livers, drained.
1 pound ground pork (or spicy pork sausage, wet chorizo would be good)
2 cups white rice
1 large yellow or white onion, finely diced
1 green bell pepper, finely diced
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
1/2 cup (or more) fresh parsley, chopped
3 ribs of celery, finely diced
If using pork, season it with salt, black pepper, and red cayenne pepper before browning. If using sausage, remove it from any casings and just put it into the skillet to brown. After the pork is browned, remove it to a large bowl. Sautee and/or brown the chicken livers in the oil remaining from the pork. Season them with salt, black pepper, red cayenne pepper, and garlic powder while cooking. Remove them from the pan, chop or grind them, and place them in the bowl with the sausage. Place the chopped bell pepper, celery, and white/yellow onion in the skillet to saute. Season with salt and pepper. When the onions are clear, take the skillet off the burner, allow it to cool, and place the vegetables in the bowl.
While you were browning and sauteeing all these things, your rice should have been cooking. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned meats, the sauteed vegetables, and the chopped parsley and green onions with the steamed rice. Toss well and sprinkle with white wine for added flavor.
This freezes well, and reheats easily in the microwave oven.
