OMG You jump through windows and offa buildings??? Why...When...How often...Where?????
Weeeell, it's not something I do all that often, but I figure it's good to stay in practice. I have a group of people I practice weapons work, fight techniques, martial arts, acrobatics, etc., with. Occasionally we'll haul out the highfall bag and a scissor lift and do some practice jumps for a while. (Yes, the neighbors are used to this sort of thing by now.) We use buildings, too, but the scissor lift is a lot more portable and convenient than a typical building.

(No, that's not me in this shot--BTW, do my pictures come through for you?)

This might not look very high in this picture, but even at this height it does look a lot higher when you're up there looking down. EEK!

The sideways window jump was the one that went badly--it was just a fake wall and no glass or anything like that, but my foot caught on the sill and took the whole wall down with me and I ended up more-or-less seated in the window with the wall around me...and my foot still up on the sill with the sole of my foot pointing upwards. That hurt, lots of internal bleeding was involved, but it all healed up just fine. But how often do you *really* need to jump through windows sideways, anyway? Most of the time going through headfirst will do, and feet-first is just for special occasions (like when someone's chasing you and you want to discourage them from following).

I totally should do that. (I haven't...but stay tuned....)

Unconscious would be welcome. Brain dead does suck, though.

Dunno. I could deal with that--just have to figure out how to pull it off. Scratchchin

Hmmmm...I don't think that's my problem.... (Probably just need the right kind of exposure. "Yo, Spielberg, I was thinking that..." "Who is this? How did you get my number?")

Iagree

I'd like to see him in a period piece like the Steven Spielberg movie on Lincoln they are shooting down the street. DS1 went for a casting call for the part of Tad Lincoln, but I don't think they were looking for a blond, 5'3" nine year old.

Me thinks that trygve would also be good in another Sherlock Holmes sequel. He gives this impression that he'd be great with accents.
I wish. Accents is one of those things I could really stand to improve on. I can do funny voices, but I don't hear accents very well so even when it sounds good to me, people tell me that I'm doing it wrong. (But, then, I hear other people who are do accents and it sounds to me like *they're* doing it wrong, so I'm all confoozled.)

But, hey, that's never stood in Tom Cruise's way.... (But if you put me in the next Sherlock Holmes sequel I'll try really hard.)

I may be able to do something about getting you in a Matt McC. movie, but not a Tom Cruise movie.
