Thanks. I've been looking at these Conair ones [amazon.com], but the reviews are so-so. I have super long hair, well, really long, past mid back and I would need super large ones.

I guess I should look for some ceramic ones, but it seems like when I was looking, it's so hard to find for my size. I shall keep looking

Liggy got me one and I've been dying to use it, but haven't had the chance to. I know that Porda uses one and I was amazed when she pulled it out. :lol : I think it's very useful!

:woot : It's been really quiet today. Felt like I was on the wrong thread!
As soon as I try my new rollers, I'll let you know what I think. I also have very long hair. It's close to my waist. (That reminds me I need a haircut. laugh out loud) It's tapered a bit on the sides starting a little below my chin. It's all one length in the back, & very straight. Fortunately, it does have some volume. Anyway, I use all 3 sizes of rollers, when rolling it. That keeps the curl from looking so uniform, & adds volume to the top. I use the smallest ones on what would be my bangs. I use the medium rollers on the sides & top of the back of my hair. The largest ones work best on the bottom.

My movers hated me laugh out loud.

Mine did too, & we were the movers. laugh out loud When I was boxing everything up, I was very unhappy with myself for buying so much stuff. I ended up throwing away a lot every time we moved. Unfortunately, we always accumulated more. As we moved, our homes got bigger, so we had room for more stuff. shake head I would hate to have to move now. EEK! Someday, I will. My DH & I don't need a place this size & in the suburbs on our own. We only moved here for our DS to have kids in the neighborhood to play with. My DH wants to eventually move to a town home where all upkeep is included. I think we'll sell the house with everything in it, so we don't have to move so much stuff. Stick Out Tongue

CND Toughen Up Base Coat http://www.cnd.com/Products/Product.aspx/1210. This product is awful. I thought it was the nail polish that was making it not last long, but I've used Essie & Julep & neither lasted more than a day or 2. The polish separates from the nail, & peels off in big pieces. Some of them peeled off in one piece. I used the Julep polish & glitter top coat & it started peeling off in big pieces the next day. I'm pretty sure it's the base coat that's the problem, because I had similar results with the Essie polish.

Any opinions on a base coat I should try next?

I've used Orly's Bonder Rubberized base coat for my last two mani's and I'm liking it a lot. I used it under one coat of Julep Alfre, and the mani lasted for a week even without a top coat (and btwn the hospital and home, my hands get a workout, so that's really good!). I'm wearing two coats of Zoya Persiphony over the Bonder now, and it's three days in, no chipping (again, no top coat - ran out of time and never got around to it lol).

Thanks, I'll try that. I almost forgot I have an Essie base coat. I probably have others I've forgotten about too. Embarrassment I'm always looking for something better though, so I'll order the Orly base coat. Smilie

I recommend Creative Sticky. Orly Bonder lasts well but I find it causes yellowing on my nails.

Thanks! Please do let me know. Our hair sounds alike in style. Mine's also tapered from my chin. It's kind of a V shape if you look at it from the back. I totally need a haircut! I like long hair, between the bra strap and the top half of my back, so it's like 6 inches too long now!

It would be the first time with rollers and I want to make sure I know how to use it and it's a worthwhile investment! I usually use the curling iron, but it seems like hair is more flowy with rollers, so I want to give it a try!

My hair grows crazy fast, so it's hard to keep it a certain length. I have much better luck with rollers than curling irons. Rollers hold longer & provide more volume. It doesn't hurt that they're so much easier to use. You just quickly roll it up, then have your hands free to do your makeup or whatever. Using a curling iron is so time consuming, if you have a lot of hair.

You should try the essie one that you have. I have Orly Bonder but it doesn't work too well for me. A lot of polishes peel off for me, including zoya. I'm actually surprised Orly Bonder works for Sheena with zoya. I've been using an old sally Hansen base coat with zoya to avoid the peeling.

I haven't tried Bonder with julep yet, but I used it with Deborah Lippmann np and its peeling already after 4 days.

i like creative stickey base too, and i use the nail tek base coat sometimes too. i find that my nail polish peels when i put on too thick of layers or too many of them. the cnd toughen up base probably doesn't work with your nail chemisty though if it peels for every polish you put on.

Reviews
silk and cashmere cutout neck sweater [victoriassecret.com] - I have always loved the silk and cashmere fabric and when I got it and first put it on I was happy with how the cutout part fit. Then I realized how short it was. Most tops people review as "too short" come right to the waistband of my jeans, but this left an inch and a half gap! Plus the ribbing on the cuffs and bottom hem was over six inches and looked ridiculous.
French lace sling [victoriassecret.com] - I can wear a 32 or 34 band size and the small fit great. I love the extra push and support without the extra volume.
zipper pencil skirt [victoriassecret.com] - I really love the fabric. It is a really soft, but heavyweight, stretch cotton. I got it in an 8 and it just fits in the hips, but it is huge at the waist (I have 28-inch waist, 42 hips). I like it enough that I will probably get it taken in, since I've been wanting a pencil skirt and with my proportions I'm almost certain I will never find one that fits right.

I was having coconut water this morning and I read 1 serving of coconut water is having double the potassium than a banana (and less calories too laugh out loud) thought I would share with you.

swim tote is cute but huge. Still I feel it could make a really good beach tote IMO.I like it being canvas and it has side pockets to carry water bottle etc without mixing it up with lotions and other beach items. orange stripe is too bright but i like all shades of orange bounce I ordered the cheapest possible swim item to get the tote but I am loving my set too Stick Out Tongue

Thanks for the info on the coconut water.

I think the swim tote looks cute. I love big totes for the beach! I have lots of crap to carry always laugh out loud!

I feel weird. I'm not motivated by src's like I usually am.
