VS: They say checks still show as active and that they were cashed. They will void them anyway and the option was to 1) send out new checks
...called bank.
My bank (Chase): They waived the fees on all 6 "returned" checks.
They said notation on it looked like the checks were written from an account that was closed instead of over-drafted.
See above. VS was going to make it such a PIA to credit me the bank fees. Get VS to refund credit back to your CC in the amount of the checks, and ask about a credit for the bank charges. I had almost $80 in bank fees, so that made them hesitate. If you only have 1 check, maybe they won't be douchey about it.
it will be 62.5 ml per serving. Do you need it calculated in oz? i will have to check conversion the formula

It's the box that was offered last August. I guess the code works again. The code is VIBHATBOX.
Scary article [yahoo.com] about Heavy Metals found in Cosmetics... some highlights include:
"Benefit Benetint lip gloss contained the highest level of lead at 110 parts per millions (ppm), which is more than 10 times higher than the limit set by the Health Canada Draft Guidance on Heavy Metal Impurities in Cosmetics"
Other products found to have the highest levels of impurities were:
Clinique Stay True Makeup foundation (Stay Ivory) — arsenic, cadmium, beryllium, lead, nickel, thallium
Sephora Sculpting Powder Trio eye shadow (Brown and Pink) — beryllium, lead, nickel, thallium
MAC Sheerton Shimmer Blush (Springsheen) — beryllium, lead, nickel, thallium
L'Oreal Bare Naturale mascara (Black/Brown) — arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, lead, nickel, thallium
Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner (Black Onyx) — beryllium, cadmium, lead, nickel
Almay Intense i-color Trio eye color (Trio for Blues, Brown and Dark Grey) — beryllium, cadmium, lead, nickel, selenium
Benefit Benetint Pocket Pal (Red Tint and Clear Gloss) — arsenic, beryllium, cadmium, lead, nickel, selenium, thallium
... this sucks. I spend more money on higher-end beauty/skincare products because I want them to be better for me than the cheap stuff, but it's just as bad or worse! What I don't understand is that all of these metals end up in the product as a result of manufacturing processes... what in the world are they using for machinery??

And thanks for the hat box info!
is the nars code still good!

Do you own both of them?
no, coconut water does not taste like coconut at all. at least not to me. coconut flesh does - it's like coconut milk (what they use a lot in thai dishes) which i actually like. i find it odd that none of the fresh coconut tastes like that processed crap coconut-flavored stuff tastes like (i.e. almond joy, etc) - where does that come from?! i guess what i hate the most is the texture of coconut flakes and other processed coconut items, and fresh coconut does not have that at all.
i think i was able to get such long wear bc zoya polishes are very thin and smooth. the sally hansen base coat is very thin also. seche vite is thick, but it's such a great top coat. my orly bonder doesn't work well with my zoya polishes so i default back to my sally hansen for that brand.
which one, naked 1 or 2? :woot2 :
I have the 250 ml one right now and it says 4 serving per box.
it will be 62.5 ml per serving. Do you need it calculated in oz? i will have to check conversion the formula :lol :
:omg : 62.5ml is only like 2oz...that's only a 1/4 cup! 1oz = 30mL. so one 8oz cup of it would have ~180 calories.
