mine uses wire clips. i wish they were more secure. i was looking at clips on amazon, and the clamp ones are $6 for 10-pack. it's crazy because my rollers are just $12 ($22 - the cupid code at folica).

It doesn't take long, but you do have to heat them up one at a time. I like them. they seem easier to use than the regular kind for some reason.

Your shopping story is too funny. That's the reason I stopped participating in Secret Santa. To me, half the fun of gift giving is trying to come up with things you think the recipient will like. It's not as much fun to stick to a provided list. Showers would be the exception. I love registries, so I don't have to guess on colors & worry about buying a duplicate to something the recipient has already gotten.

It looked really pretty except for the part that I did with the medium size rollers. The curls were too much. Next time just using the large rollers. I was talking on the phone and posting on here. It took maybe 30 minutes. My hair is several inches past my shoulders.

Are you talking about Benefit creams? I use cream shadows the same way as powder shadows. For some reason, I like the way cream looks better than powder.

Which set did you buy? I checked Folica & only saw 2 Conair sets. Maybe, I missed them. I wish they'd have that code again. I placed a few orders for shampoo & conditioner. There's a lot more things I'd like to get though.
