btw, all those advocates of vince camuto shoes, i just have to say - i tried on a pair of 4" pumps (i don't think they had any platform either - very steep heel) at nords rack over the weekend and they were SOOOO COMFORTABLE. omg, how did they make a 4" pump so comfy?! (i think it was these [amazon.com]) i have absolutely no use for such a tall pump but man, i almost bought them. i am def going to look into buying his shorter heels in the future.
That's good to know! I'm still looking for a pair of super comfortable pumps. Can you tell if there's significantly more cushion than other pumps?

How does it compare to the Fergie one we got? I didn't think those were terribly comfortable for me.

but seriously, i just don't wear 4" pumps much. i could tell my knees would hurt by the end of the day, but my feet were so happy!

hmmm the fergie ones are decently comfortable for me, bc of the platforms. but tbh i only wore them a couple of times. i usually have a hard time with tall pumps without a platform, but the vc were oddly comfy. it may have been padding, i'm not sure. try them on! i found them at nords rack.

Just confirming that when using the Free Bra for the bra perks, if you add on another item it charges shipping, so it's ONLY the bra that's free with FS.

ordered conair hot rollers that i've been wanting (the jumbo and super jumbo ones) that's backordered. plus a filler to get over $25, just in case. woot hope i get that rebate! (plus 7% urlhasbeenblocked rebate - i have 19.xx right now - i hope this gets me over $20 so i can actually get my cash back! laugh out loud)
i always forget about cashback sites Doh i think at the back of my head, i'd assume they won't work because i always use coupons.

dont! They hurt Frown

I tried the sock curl technique that one of you posted yesterday and lets just say it doesn't work with my naturally curly, but shapeless hair. I wore the bun overnight and when I took it out this morning I looked like Lion King laugh out loud I wish I got her results: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FV-YO46E8Y
thanks! i needed someone to remind me that epilators hurt laugh out loud

My hair didn't look like that girls either. Maybe I need longer hair. Or maybe my pony tail was too tight at the top of my head. Or maybe I wet it too much. I couldn't listen to her video, cause I'm at work. I just fast forwarded to the end to see the result.
i didn't get to the point where i am able to put the sock on. my hair is still too short and it has layers. glad to know it didn't work for 2 of you already. at least others who tried it and didn't succeed know it's not their fault laugh out loud

You know, I've never noticed about my knees hurting, but I went down 9 flight of stairs in 4 inch pumps because I didn't want to wait for the elevator and I guess I put too much pressure on them going down and my knees were killing me for 1 day! Probably dumb thing for me to do, but I was in my most comfy Steven Madden shoes so I figured I could do anything. Not comfortable by the end of the day. shake head

And I guess my feet are picky then! Probably also because they're most comfy in Wide and can fit okay in M. Too bad nothing like Nordstrom's rack is around me! But one of these days, I will make it to the one in Brea or regular Nordies just to try them on! Big Grin!

omg, 9 flights in 4" heels?! i'm glad you're still able to walk and you didn't break your knees! laugh out loud i have bad knees to start with, so now with age i'm starting to feel it a lot more. that's partly why i don't like to wear heels anymore, as much as i love them.
hmm i cannot wear steve madden pumps. i tried 1 on for like, an hour at a club (switched with friend whose feet were killing her) and omg i wanted to chop off my feet. so maybe we have differently picky feet, hehe. laugh out loud

I'm actually starting to think I have knee problems as well. I went hiking this one time and going down absolutely killed my knees. It felt like someone jabbed knives in my knees and they were bleeding! I've kept hiking since then, but they don't hurt that bad, just a little, or none at all.

I guess my parents kept telling me these problems happened when I would go to school with shorts in the freezing cold morning. I did so because it got super hot later in the day. I've noticed my knees hurt when I'm out in shorts when it's super cold, so I've stop that now.

Have you been able to do anything to manage the knees? I can't give up heels!!!!!! Sadwalk

going down an incline or down stairs is reeeally hard on your knees. that's why you felt it when you were going down the hiking trail (and probably why your knees hurt when you went down the stairs at work - never do that again!).

for now, i take smaller steps and try not to land too hard on my heels when i walk in heels. it's easier on my knees, and keeps them from hurting so much. it also minimizes the cluck-cluck-cluck of walking in heels - i hate making so much noise when i walk so that's an added bonus. when i'm jogging, i slow down/walk when it's a decline, otherwise my knees tend to hurt the next day. i also started trying out barefoot running [wikipedia.org] - it's alleviated a lot of pain on my joints i think, but it works out my calves a lot. (i don't run barefoot - i use minimalist shoes)
