hug You'll be fine. You sound like the type of person to call all of your vendors 2-3 weeks out and make sure they are Whip into shape! I had a binder - each vendor got it's own divider tab with a sheet of their contact info, checklist, $ & details for any quick phone calls (spreadsheet that I had made for each), copies of any communication we had and a copy of the contract.

I went off season, it helped greatly on the price side of things, but it also rained and ruined the plans for an outdoor ceremony so it is a trade off. (the back up plan worked well so ehhh, but it would have been slightly prettier outside) At least you know what kind of weather you'll get right? Smilie
Yep . You would have thought my being difficult about accommodations and not being a personal friend of the bride would have excluded me from such a possibility laugh out loud
Aww Comfort Similar thing happened with us! Off-season, outdoor ceremony & cocktail hour... Rained before ceremony- wiped the seats off, we said our vows, took pictures, started raining again. Cocktail hour was supposed to be on top of this veranda wall overlooking the ocean. We paid an extra...$750 for that- and didn't get it back Sadwalk Next day- completely clear- beautiful blue sky, blue ocean - just figures but ah well. It's so important to be able to let go of how you visualized it all, and begin to flow with reality and accept it for the beautiful thing it is.

you know, i am, and i'm not. it's stressing me out that things aren't going as planned, already. i act strangely when i'm stressed - i get the overwhelming urge to just quit everything. laugh out loud but like you said about your wedding day... i need to let go of how i visualized it all, and work with what i have. i am learning that as i type... i'm upset that i don't get any of the MUA/hair ppl that i was originally deciding between, but i should really just go look at what i have to work with and book one. it will be better than being stuck without any!

that is a good idea about printing everything out. i will have to get more organized!

and oewiz - i can't believe they are complaining about a $70 dress. shake head

I replied! Rather lengthy. EEK! Thanks about the compliment, if I didn't do the spreadsheet, I'd gone nuts! And I would be freaking out and die if I didn't have enough saved up and continue to postpone.

Pacific Palms surprised me too! I didn't think it would be that nice either. At least the guy's wedding pictures made it seem very nice! I guess...for $40K.

I miss it!!!!! I didn't know if I should consider getting the Dream Tees or Kiss Tees, but after what you've said, I'm gonna skip. Glad I over-purchased them in multiple colors.

Wow, super organized! I need to take a page from your book!

You seem like the type to take things in stride very well nod I would absolutely cry if it rained on my wedding day. I'm just super worried about the marine layer, but hopefully a south facing beach should be okay..but you never know.

I actually do not miss the Ultimate Tees. I put most of mine in storage. I was never really a fan of Daily Tees. I like the style of the Dream Tees. They are thicker than the Feather Tees, which I use for working out.

Sigh. I actually like a lot of VS's spring/summer stuff... I'm a sucker for crochet and pretty little details. But I just joined Mint.com to have all my budgeting info in one place, and I know it's going to keep me from spending (which is good). Trying to save for a down payment on a house with the BF/soon-to-be fiance. (Picked my engagement ring a couple months ago! Whee)
