i'm trying my steam rollers. there are 2 settings - steam (dry climate) and ionic steam (humid climate). when i have it in ionic, it makes a fast ticking sound Confused, but not in steam.
Mine do that too. It freaks me out so badly that I've yet to try the ionic setting. It's a horrible noise laugh out loud!

i just saw the review. i guess i'll be fine with steam laugh out loud it's not a tolerable sound. i have the rollers on right now and i love how light it feels. and how i had a seemingly unlimited supply of rollers. (compared to the remington which is the only other one i've tried. i've yet to judge on the result.)

I haven't had chemistry since high school. I really liked it though. It was my favorite, but I took bio in college because it was a lot easier Teehee.

i did what the written instruction said. i think the blow dry would help. will do that next time. also i didn't steam the cover like she did, i was in a hurry as i don't want to run out of steam laugh out loud the instructions said it takes 20-30 min to use up the steam, i was so fast i only used up less than half.

so... the cover made dents on my hair Teehee i don't know if it's avoidable. i didn't think of that, so probably for next time i make sure i put the cover on at the correct angle to minimize dent. also, i'm not sure the curls will stay on, and i won't know because i'll be sleeping on it. the blow drying would probably help in that aspect too.

it may be general consensus that bio is easier, but not for me, because i don't like reading and memorizing.

I hate it too. I always made better grades in the classes with math. I should have taken chemistry. It would have been a little more effort but I would have enjoyed it more and made a higher grade.

I'm curious how this compares to regular hot rollers. I am still on the fence about getting one, but I'm very curious about how it holds up after sleeping. I like the Herstyler curls and after I sleep it in, it doesn't look bad at all!

the way i did it haphazardly now, it would be gone. also, they are for softer curls, and i would think softer curls tend to not last.

are john freida products good? i'm thinking about the drugstore.com deal and browsing the site, and john freida seems to get good ratings.
I love the smell and feel of my hair after using theRoot Awakening products [drugstore.com]. I also love the FrizzEase mousse - it's always been my anti-humidity go-to. The FrizzEase Secret Weapbon finishing cream - [drugstore.com] I kept a tube in my purse for a summer funeral in the midwest- I was able to help several ladies in the restroom with it. It's a heavier hand than the mousse though- depends on what kind of humidity- intervention you need. I also have the Straight Fixation Smoothing cream, [drugstore.com] and it works too but I'm not in the market for straighteners, I just have it b/c it was free so it's hard for me to compare for you. I have the Root Awakening strength restoring smoothing lotion [drugstore.com]- and that sits by my door so I can get a pump of that before heading out to tame flyaways near my hairline. Really lightweight- smooths but doesn't leave a 'grease streak' behind in your hair after it dries. Lastly, I have the Rootlift Full Repair foam [drugstore.com]... nothing really stood out about it to me. Seemed like any old styling mousse, maybe a little lighter- no noticeable volume change at the roots for me and not really a style holder at all.

OK, looking at this paragraph above here- I realize I have a lot of JF stuff Coverlaugh
