Between the meds & the Ipad, we'll probably get some great posts from you. This is going to be fun. Free entertainment!
ETA: hope your recovery time is low, ALVSY. You'll be looking fabulous!
Speaking of.....I am taking a 5 day cruise in May and I already have 1 dress per day (for dinners). But my friend who is a assistant manager at Express yelled across the hall to me today (VS & Express are right across...and yes, we yell to each other. haha) Saying that she got in 2 new maxi dresses that had my name written ALL over them!! So of course I went over there and fell in love with them both. I should really only buy 1 but I cannot decide which I like best!!! They're so beautiful and 30% off right now. Thinking I may take the more casual cottony one (This one: http://www.express.com/strapless-.../index.pro) I bought the other day back and exchange for the 2 dressier ones.
thanks for the rec k!
the rollers seemed hot, but i think i only left them in for like 5 min. plus, my hair is stick straight right now due to a perm, so i think that's another reason. it probably won't hold a curl well for another 6 months or so. but i'll try it again and leave on for longer next time! (i almost killed the set bc i took it out of the box and plugged it in, not realizing that there was no on/off button so plugging it in meant heating it up right away. there was still cardboard in between the rollers separating them. lucky for me they didn't start to burn! :lol
how long is the recovery time? good luck...!! i hope you have an easy recovery.
:iagree : about girls who only bring 1 bathing suit. what is wrong with them? even when i go to vegas (and i generally will only sunbathe one day over the weekend since sunday is recovery time) i'll bring a few just to have a choice. i don't wear my bathing suits much so i love any opportunity to wear as many as possible! oh and i LOVED the pin dot balconet - i reeeeally wanted it in green! but never ordered when they had it in my size. :sadwalk :
i try to avoid this by choosing wisely (multi-use pieces, etc) but this is why it generally takes me about a week to pack for anything.
:lmao : at the cat!
do you have a luggage weigher? i have this one [amazon.com] from amazon and it has changed my life - no more awkwardly positioning the luggage while i step on a scale, only to find that it was wildly inaccurate! i highly recommend it - i will usually give a pound or 2 in case the weigher thing is wrong, but it's decently accurate!
i've never seen this but i can imagine how horrible it is.
Speaking of Vegas pools, have you ever stayed at Caesar's Palace? My DH & I stayed there once & the pool was ice cold. We couldn't stand to submerge our entire body. It actually hurt. After trying it on our arrival day, we decided to pass on the pool for the rest of our stay. This was in July. They obviously chill the water. This was crazy cold though.
Thanks for the link to the luggage scale. I need to order us one.

Where do you buy your bathing suits? I only wear tankinis with high rise bottoms. I'm afraid to order from VS, because their suits seem to be made for the tummy-less.
