oh man, really? that sucks!!!

it is totally true that some TSA employees have power trips. i once had 1 person tell me that i had to all the way out and back around the security line bc my teeny tiny .1 oz perfume mini was not in my zip loc bag but inside my purse (i forgot about it bc it was in a separate compartment). she threatened to throw it away. she would not let me take it out there and put it into the zip loc bag - i had to do it "prior" to getting into the line, not while i was at the front of the line. like, seriously. luckily i have no problems doing some walking, but that biotch pissed me off!

Faint I'd be pissed if that made me miss my flight! That's so uncalled for. I guess they have all the power. Seriously, what are you going to do with .1 oz?

yeah, i would have just said f-- it and left without it, except it's a mini of my favorite perfume [sephora.com] that i walked around all of taipei looking for. (it's so cute - it looks just like the bigger bottle except it's a mini! and there's no spray nozzle) i spent maybe like $10 on it, which is not a lot but it's not like it was a free mini sample or anything. and bc i spent so much time looking for it i couldn't just toss it. she probably wanted it for herself. shake head

right after the oz thing took place, we were taking a trip and I had gotten DD a bottle of perfume from VS, it was 3.7oz. She was going through her stuff and I said don't bring that bottle or put it in your suitcase, well she said I will leave it here. We get to security and they stop her bag and find it and I am thinking please let us keep it, we just got that bottle. It was a lady TSA and she decided to let it go. Boy did we make sure that bottle was in her suitcase on the way back.
