I'm feeling very good today. I go to the dr in the moRning. I hope he says everything is fine. I think it is going well though.

I must be the only mom who is still shy at the doctor's office. I hate going, especially if it's for anything other than my usual check-up for my prescriptions. The last time I had a pap smear they messed it up. It's been about 3 years & I still haven't let them redo it. I know...... bad me.
DD is doing better. She is such a cool baby
Girl - GO GET YOUR PAP DONE. I skipped out on mine for years and now I am going through colposcopy procedures and biopsies all the time. I just had the damn thing done again last Wednesday. Two more biopsies, cross your fingers everything is OK again - doc still hasn't gotten back to me.
Also, I just learned that I won a travel grant. I'm pretty nice. It's exciting that people are actually starting to recognize my work. I just hope this continues...

UGH! The weather here tonight is HORRIBLE. The storms they got in Dallas seem to be coming this way. I'm between NOLA and Baton Rouge. Nasty nasty rain! So sick of it!
On another note, I went to buy some new pants today as I am nowhere near my pre pregnancy size and I have to go to work in something other than sweats lol. The lady at the counter was making small talk and asked me about my daughter, when I had to go back to work, etc. I told her the reason I was shopping was because I couldn't fit in my clothes and had to go back to work and was bummed out about it. She said to me, "Ohh, I know what you mean! After I had my son I was 35 pounds lighter when it was time for me to go back to work than before I was pregnant!" I wanted to punch her between the eyes. What makes people say dumb sh*t like that? UGH!

Try not to worry about the weight. I looked horrible after I had ds. I didnt even feel exercising until he was 5 or 6 months because I was exhausted. I gave myself 2 shots of heparin a day. I had nasty bruises for months. I thought my legs would be bruised forever. I should have taken pics.
