I came home from the hospital THE SAME WEIGHT I WENT IN HAHAH! I was SO mad! They say it is the fluids, I had a TON of fluids since I was induced. It was pretty funny though, I popped out an 8 pound baby and didn't lose weight. If I had gained I think I would have lost it lol. It'll come off, I'm going back to my low carb eating and some exercise and it'll happen, gradually, but it will happen.

And just wanted to let you girls know...I matched! Psychiatry residency at my first choice: DMC/WSU program in Detroit I would have been happy anywhere - Chicago, NY, or Cali, but I don't know, all my really close friends and family are here, and I've been at WSU for 8 years now, so I kinda didn't really want to leave lol.

And now...back to packing up my apartment, we're moving out on Sunday, and I swear, how the HECK did I accumulate so much crap in two years?!?!

I looked huge when I came home. I was bloated or swollen. Someone said the iv did it.

Happened to me too! Popped out a 7-lb baby, lost less than that. Is it because of induced labor? I thought I ate too much hospital food.

I was puffy fat. It was weird.

I was told that it was from all of the fluid in the IV's and my induction was over a 16 hour period, so I would imagine it was a lot of fluids. When I got home, I was more swollen than I was before I had her I could press on my feet and leave indentations on them I looked like the Michelin Man lol!

Sorry you're having to go through that. There was a stage in my life when I was losing someone close every few months. It was a really rough time. Thankfully, there's been a few good years. I pray it stays that way for many more years.

It seems I always go unprepared & have to buy a dress. Plus, all the funerals were attended by the same people. I didn't want to wear the same dress to all of them. For you, a basic black or dark blue dress would be good, if you don't see the same people every time. Even if you do, you could accessorize differently. If you only want to buy one, short sleeves will work for all seasons. You can always wear it with a sweater in the cooler months. I hope it's a long time before you need a dress for another funeral.

Thanks so much for the nice words. I didn't mean for my PM to come off as whiny or emo at all! I hope it didn't. I guess I just see what is going on as life lol. It happens, and when bad things happen like the biopsies and dental work, etc, I just tend to be thankful I have insurance or that I have the money to be able to chip away at a dental bill when it comes in. My hubby and I aren't in the best financial spot in the world, but we're debt free, no vehicle payments either and that helps a TON. We can knock out a $10k dental bill in a year on a tight budget, but more realistically I'll do things in steps : )

The thing with my daughter SUCKED, but I am glad she is OK and I'm glad the doctors took me seriously. She is a happy and healthy baby, despite her constipation lol. I hate the doctor a ton too - really, if I hadn't gotten pregnant I wouldn't have went in again, and now it's been almost three years straight of bad cells and biopsies...avoiding them just makes things worse. You just worked so hard to lose weight girl, make sure you are as healthy as you can be to enjoy it!

I lean on my hubby a lot, We don't really have anyone else and some days it is hard...like the day I had my biopsies, he was supposed to have to go back to work that evening. I felt fine after this one fortunately, but I was so angry there was no one in his family to help us or anything. I just wanted to lay down as I was bleeding a lot, and fortunately he ended up not having to go back in. I'm a trooper. I get mad for a few minutes, maybe even a little hurt, then I get thankful that I have what I do and keep on going : )

I think I figured it out. It's natures form of birth control so you don't have kids too close together - after childbirth you look like you got wore.out.bad. so your hubby just stands back for awhile, and then after your doc examines you at 6 weeks, the memory of the pain comes back and you decide nothing is ever going in there again.

See, nature really is just being kind to me :lol : She wants to make sure I am REALLY ready when we decide to have another baby hahahah!

You're definitely not being a downer. That's a lot for anyone to have to deal with all at once. I'm glad your hubby is there for you. Good husbands are priceless.

I'm impressed that you don't have any debt at your age. You're smart to keep it down as much as possible. Unfortunately, we still have a house payment. Considering the fact that we've had to buy our DS 3 cars in less than 2 years, & have to send him to school, we won't be getting rid of it anytime soon either. My DH & I keep looking for that light at the end of the tunnel. Eventually we'll get him through school & can have some extra money. Oh, happy day.

My DS was induced too. Maybe, that's why I gained weight. My doctor didn't tell me that. It would have made me feel better to know it at the time.

My great-niece's boys are 10 months apart. We didn't wait close to 6 weeks either, but I would have died if I'd gotten pregnant less than a month after DS was born.

Would love some help from the experts here. My DD age 18 has 4 $10 SRC's, an instore $10 off a bra and a $10/$50 from a survey she just took which was the worst store experience ever.
They even screwed up the Ipad order. She left the store crying. What is the best bang for a buck I can do for her? I am trying to treat her to a $52 bra and spend as little oop as possible. tia

I'd wait for a deal online to pop up. Most stores don't allow src stacking with coupons or other src's.
