for those who are looking for new hair toys, i recommend the bigger curling wands! i have this one [folica.com].

there are brands that offer sets that include interchangeable different sized barrels. i'd probably have gone for one of those for versatility if i didn't already own a herstyler.
I totally agree! I own this [folica.com]one. I had ordered the cheaper one when there was a free dryer/free flat iron. Then, it was OOS for 3 weeks, and the guy gave me 25% off the better one, making the prices almost equal!

It's an amazing curling iron. So easy to use (once you learn not to get burned). I totally agree about the curling wands being awesome.

Doh This one looks awesome and more well priced! I like big loose waves, which I have a problem of achieving via the Herstyler, but then again, I haven't used it too much.

I've had this on my Amazon wishlist and forgot about it until you just posted. I didn't buy it yet because I'm afraid I'll burn myself. I'm not very coordinated. laugh out loud I do need a large barrel iron. I like the 2" sized but I hate how it snags. I guess I'll have to get the burn cream ready and try this one after all. Teehee

That is a nice set! I think I'll try the first one and see if I can use a clipless before I invest in this one. nod

clipless irons are pretty easy to use. You just wrap the hair around them. I have a hot tools one. I really want that set.

maybe red can tell us if she really gets good use out of all 4. i would say 2 sizes is enough. i spent ~$50 to get my 2 curling wands. if you decide to get the 2 remingtons from folica, your max spend will be $45. less if you wait for nice sales/coupons. even less if you can satisfy yourself with one toy Teehee i'd say go for the larger one first if you have longer than shoulder length hair.

I have a pretty large one. Don't remember the exact size.

I'm actually a fairly lazy person. I don't curl my hair that much (and work at a university where I feel awkward looking "too nice"), but I love the two big barrels...and the third largest is the 1", which I can see myself getting use out of because it's such a standard size. I've never used the small ones, but my hair is almost down to my elbows, so I don't know why I would want a head of hair with curls that tight. Cortex has another one for $100 here [folica.com], which is the one I wanted. I'm not sure if there's a big difference by any means. You can use the code "birthday" for a free flat iron and hair dryer (my iron only slightly differed from that one) and use the magazine $12 rebate for a pretty good deal. Or 25MISSYOU would give you 25% off

This set [folica.com] is the same as the iron I have only with extra stuff that gets good reviews.

If you're considering a clipless curling iron, I would definitely suggest mine. I love it and have no desire to ever buy another curling iron. The case is also awesome and holds all of the barrels. It's really sleek and compact and small enough to travel with. I was impressed, especially since I was practically drooling over that curling iron for months...

I love the ocean, DH not so much. I have two DD's and they are the same as DH and I ... one loves the beach/pool like I do, the other not so much like her Dad. I think the extent of him being in or on the ocean was a booze cruise we took when we were dating and that was crazy! :teehee :

Thanks. We really enjoy going there because we can go do family things during the day and then at night he and I can hit Citywalk for alone time. It's affordable enough because we don't pay airfare to get away and there is so much to do there so we never tire of it. We're doing HHN this year too. : woot:

They are also good at finding deals! : woot: I look at it this way, before this thread I would of bought full price so really I'm ahead of the game. That is what I tell myself anyway. :teehee :
You & your beach loving DD should take off to the beach & leave them. Stick Out Tongue If your DH is like mine, you could talk him into taking you for a weekend, with the promise of good food & good Turtle. That's the way I get my DH to WDW. Teehee He's not a big fan of the parks.

I'm too big of a chicken for HHN. It sounds like so much fun that I've been tempted to try it a few times. I seriously doubt I would stay though.

Yeah, these girls are masters at the deal game. Since I met them, I've gotten so many good deals that we never have any extra money. laugh out loud

Quote from CrazyCatJade :
I've cried about it already and I did tell my DH that I will let her go, but if I ask to go get her after dinner he is to shut up and take me, no questions asked. If I am good after dinner and wake up at 4 am to go get her, he is to smile and let me go. He said OK. :l ol: I feel like my hubby is trying his best to do what he can to make sure I get a break and I am ok. He's a boy, he doesn't know what else to do :h eart:

Thank you ; ) Oh - let me know if you want that code I PM'd you about : )

At least the swim tote is SUPER cute and awesome. I have DD's stuff for the day care center packed in to it right now : )

I just bought this [victoriassecret.com] with my last SRC. Anyone have this? Looks cute and still forgiving. Hell, forgiving is an understatement for what I need. I need like, a confessional in lingerie : lol:
It sounds like you have a very supportive DH. Try to relax & enjoy the time you have alone to reconnect. hug

I'll take that code, if you don't want it. Blowkiss I don't remember getting a PM about it, but I probably just missed it.

I'm having a lot of guests this summer. I plan to make a goodie bag with the totes for my sisters & nieces. I can send the rest by one of them to hand out to the others who aren't visiting. That's a good idea to use yours for a daycare bag.

I have that babydoll in my wishlist to buy. Which color did you order? I'm probably going to buy the spa blue color.

Thanks. bounce I need a code that works for a percent off of shorts too. Come on VS... I need clothes!

I need to check Limited too.

Quote from Tizzylicious :
Yes I do .... unless I want to walk around in just bras all summer. : teehee:

Ask and you shall receive! : yahoo: Anyone have these minis [victoriassecret.com] or off the shoulder tunics [victoriassecret.com]?
Too funny about the bras. Coverlaugh I feel your pain.

I've been considering buying that mini shirt forever. They no longer have the tunic I wanted with it, but I may order a different outfit. I wish I could still get the green leaves tunic somehow. I can't wear off the shoulder tops. They feel like they're falling down, so I constantly pull at them. shake head What's your secret for wearing them comfortably.

Quote from ALVSGIRLY :
I ordered some, but I have no clue what size I am. I have a measuring tape thing for the body but can not find it anywhere. I tried on a 32 c and it was too small. I think I'm a d now :woot2 :!
