Agreed on the stand-alone store being better vs. Origins counter. Oh, was going to tell you, I tried on the gorgeous and that thing is X-rated on me. I don't think I'd even make it poolside without a wardrobe malfunction. It is cute though! I bought this biofit bikini [victoriassecret.com] in the purple paisley. It looks similar on me- outstanding coverage and support . I think this will be the only set I buy this year... I've been buying solid color bottoms (black and white ones) to pair with patterned tops- but that's mostly b/c I need something to buy every time they come out with a new swim tote

oOoo how does the biofit bikini work as a strapless? i bought the bandeau in that wavy stripe color and am currently unsure about it. i need a new bandeau but i don't hate or love the wavy stripe pattern.

i'm glad i'm not the only one to think the gorgeous bikini top is a little x-rated. no wonder dbf likes it so much. i think i am keeping it anyway, but ur right, it's major malfunction. and i tried on a larger top to cover more and it didn't help. i really love the spa floral print that i got (blue w black flowers) so i think i am keeping it.

So jealous. There needs to be one around me. I get lazy cleaning it myself and end up never getting around to it.

Oh... I thought that was the one you had already? It must be the jungle one you were talking about. I don't have the regular Gorgeous- so I cannot compare for you, sorry. I have seen the regular Gorgeous bra- and I agree with anni- too much padding for me. That doesn't stop me from buying the Very Sexy push-up bras when they have special embellished ones, so its only a matter of time before I buy the Gorgeous anyway . The palm is B/O until 6/5 in my top size so it wouldn't come in time for my trip. I also worry- it looks like the teeny bikini style . I have enough "sit there, look pretty, and don't you dare move" suits .


It actually works really well IMO, I think it could hold you on it's own. Not for a jog down the beach or snorkeling, but much better than the bandeau. While I don't need the push-up factor- it provides great support and makes it fit more snug. Also- with a bra, I have to worry about too much push-up- you get the double boob look under tops, but swimwear you don't- so for me I'm finding push-up bikinis are great. I had bought the bandeau as well and it's going back. I already have the bandeau from previous years and wear it alone to lounge around in, but bring the strap for when I go into the water. I found the same was true for the sports bras with cup sizes and push-up. The spa gorgeous pattern is totally cute... and who says swimwear can't double for lingerie?
