I SWORE I posted my initial thoughts when opening the box, then I was so confused when I saw you post this last night. I ended up putting my laptop away and going to sleep because I was so tired. YAY! ROBE! I need one of those! Whee I will be all over that. Haven't gotten my angel tote in the mail yet, but it looked OK online. I'll probably eBay it anyhow. I need another tote like I need a kick to the face!



OK - the HAI flat iron didn't impress me out of the box. The plates didn't line up as well as I thought they should and I thought I would have to press hard to get it to close. When I actually decided to give it a go this morning though, I was impressed enough. It straightened my hair well - which is a feat. I have VERY VERY curly, hard to straighten hair, but you will never catch me without it straightened. This iron did a good job and didn't burn my scalp when I was doing parts close to my head, and some other irons do. It didn't pull or break my hair at all and heated up quickly. So far, no fluff or frizz either. Overall, pretty happy with it. Not the best flat iron ever, but definitely worth the $40. (Or the $15 if I can sell the crimper for $25 laugh out loud)

Sounds like it is working for you. I was never a huge fan of raisins until I started putting them in my Special K plus protein. It needs sweetness and that gives it just enough now if I am out I miss them in it. Ever try other cereals with bran so you can add fruit you do like?

I'm glad I didn't order khaki shorts from Express. I got some today that I ordered from Kohl's. Embarrassment I obviously need to put down the card & stop shopping. Right after I replace the VS shorts, buy some capris, & buy the dresses I want. Evillaugh Oh, I forgot the lingerie I want. I'm hopeless. Facepalm

BTW, don't buy that feeding tube yet. LMAO I got some size 4 shorts from Kohls today. It sounds like they fit me like the size 2 VS shorts fit you. They're not fall off big, when they're buttoned & zipped like the VS size 4, but they're loose. I'm going to keep them & hope I can alter them, when I lose more weight. I really need a size 3 now, which isn't possible. A size 2 would probably be tight, until I lose more weight. The VS shorts definitely run big. The good news is I obviously have lost more weight. The last size I bought was a 6.

I remember you saying you were going on a cruise. Where are you cruising to? Those are the best vacations ever.

I'm going through the same thing with losing weight. I already need a whole new wardrobe. Plus, I finally feel like I look better in lingerie & swim wear so I'm buying a lot more of those than usual.

Thanks for the tote & robe info. I already ordered the tote, which I didn't need. Hopefully, I can find a use for it. The robe will be on my list too.

I've had my DH look for cereals with dried cranberries, or basically anything other than raisins. He says they all have more calories. Obviously, he does the grocery shopping. I had to stop, when my back got too bad to push a heavy cart, & bend over to get the stuff on the bottom shelf. I'd love suggestions for something to have him look for though.

I like having a few dressy shorts too. At the moment, I'm just concentrating on getting something to wear. Embarrassment I need basics. When I've lost all the weight I want, I'll start building my wardrobe more. I've bought 8 or 9 pair of shorts recently. That should do me, until I settle on a size. I just hope I get them all worn, while they fit. I probably shouldn't have ordered that many, since I'm still trying to lose weight. Facepalm

If you ever get your DH on a cruise, he will probably love it. You may have better luck getting him to go, if you plan a cruise for the 2 of you. It's a great couples vacation. I won't say why. kurpee will scold me for giving TMI. laugh out loud

The shoes are in a regular shoe box. Unfortunately, it would take a pretty big box for both of them.

wave Hi GH! We are leaving from NJ and we cruise to Bermuda. We are sailing with my sister, her Dh and my parents to celebrate my parent's 35th wedding anniversary. It's cute because my parents are SO excited....like kids on Christmas eve. We've never taken a trip with all 6 of us, and we probably never will again so it will be a fun experience!! However....I made sure that mine and DH's cabin is far away from theirs...in case we get sick of them. haha!

And I know what you mean...losing weight is expensive, especially for addicts like us!! I haven't lost any drastic amount....but I've changed all my eating habits and I've definitely noticed my mid section slimming down, which is what I was hoping for!!

The tote would be cute as a beach tote...I just thought it looked a little cheap compared to some of the other ones VS has offered lately.

you lose a part of it that was apportioned to the item you are returning. they'll refund you what the invoice says, which already broke down the discount to the items.
