I've had my DH look for cereals with dried cranberries, or basically anything other than raisins. He says they all have more calories. Obviously, he does the grocery shopping. I had to stop, when my back got too bad to push a heavy cart, & bend over to get the stuff on the bottom shelf. I'd love suggestions for something to have him look for though.
The only cereal I eat is the Kellogg's Special K with protein. It's just a plain old flake cereal with extra protein and fiber added to it. I add raisins, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, or what ever I'm feeling that day. I bought Craisins thinking I could add my own cranberries but man those things are full of sugar!

I probably shouldn't have ordered that many, since I'm still trying to lose weight. Facepalm
I'm sure you will get some wear out of them, especially since it's always so hot here. You might even be able to take them in? Dontknow Or look on the bright side you will have another reason to shop, shop, shop! LOL. Coverlaugh

If you ever get your DH on a cruise, he will probably love it. You may have better luck getting him to go, if you plan a cruise for the 2 of you. It's a great couples vacation. I won't say why. kurpee will scold me for giving TMI. laugh out loud
Don't think all the bra's and garters in VS will get him on a ship. The ship sinking not to long ago didn't help my case either. As soon as the news broke he said "see.....this is why my feet stay on land." Down

Yay, another blond. Whee Could you go by the PO to pick your package up or is it too late?
To late. Package is already in route to be returned. I am literally right next door. I could scream when I saw what a stupid mistake I made. Grrrrr...

you lose a part of it that was apportioned to the item you are returning. they'll refund you what the invoice says, which already broke down the discount to the items.
Ahhh I see now. Thank you! Smilie

:wave : Hi GH! We are leaving from NJ and we cruise to Bermuda. We are sailing with my sister, her Dh and my parents to celebrate my parent's 35th wedding anniversary. It's cute because my parents are SO excited....like kids on Christmas eve. We've never taken a trip with all 6 of us, and we probably never will again so it will be a fun experience!! However....I made sure that mine and DH's cabin is far away from theirs...in case we get sick of them. haha!

And I know what you mean...losing weight is expensive, especially for addicts like us!! I haven't lost any drastic amount....but I've changed all my eating habits and I've definitely noticed my mid section slimming down, which is what I was hoping for!!

The tote would be cute as a beach tote...I just thought it looked a little cheap compared to some of the other ones VS has offered lately.
That sounds like an incredible trip. Which ship are you taking? A cruise to Bermuda is on our bucket list. I'd love to hear about your trip, when you return. Congrats to your parents. Hopefully, you all can do this again for their 50th. Smilie

Yeah, losing weight is a good thing for me, but it's costing me a fortune in clothes. EEK! I started at 12 & have had to buy clothes to wear at each stage of weight loss. Now, I have a lot of new clothes that I can't wear. Facepalm Lucky you on losing your mid-section. I still need to lose stomach & neck fat. If it wasn't for that, I'd stop trying to lose & just maintain. It's looking like the rest of my body is going to be skin over bone, before I ever lose in those areas. laugh out loud

:evillaf : gh. They are a bit bigger than express. I have some for when I want to dress conservative.
You are so Evil. I need a 2 in the VS, Eva shorts, but they apparently run big. Should I get 2 or 4 @ Limited?

Quote from kurips :
bought nothing!
That's no fun.

That's a good idea for cereal. I need a lot more protein in my diet anyway. I'll have my DH pick up a box of that & some fresh fruit. Thanks for the suggestion.

I already bought some clothes that were too big, before I got a chance to wear them.Annoyed Naturally, it's too late to return them. I don't go out a often. Around the house I always wear lounge pants or sweatpants. I don't really want to get smaller than a 2, so I hope I can just alter anything I buy from now on. As I said above, if I could lose some more in my stomach & neck, I'd stop losing & just try to maintain.

That cruise ship disaster was scary. We'll still cruise, because we love it. I told my DH I'll be less willing for us to split up though. If anything happened, I'd want us to be together. I'm not a gambler, so he usually goes to the casino, when I need some rest. I doubt we'll do that now. My FIL is like your DH. We tried to get them to cruise with us for their 50th anniversary. He was in the Navy, & says we'll never get him on another ship.

That's a bummer that you missed your package. I hope you can get it shipped back to you soon.

I like it for days when I am too lazy to make egg white omelets. It's 100 calories 3g fat, 14g carbs, 5g fiber, 2g sugars, 10g protein in 3/4 cup. Not to bad. Wink

My closet is full of yoga pants ..... and I don't do yoga! LOL. You should be so proud of your weight loss. I know how hard it is when you can't exercise. I had Lyme disease and before they figured it out it destroyed my knees so running/squats/stair climbers ect are painful and I don't do them. I need to because I need to tone up my butt and legs.

Of all the cruise ships that leave port how many disasters have there been? I asked DH this and he still won't budge. I'm not a gambler either, but I like to play black jack every now and then. I don't know what I'm doing so really I'm paying the dealer to sit in a chair. laugh out loud

I emailed the company, it's Saturday so I won't hear back till Monday. DH said order another and cancel the other so you get it quicker. He knows how impatient I am. laugh out loud

Anyone tried the Eva Linen Shorts? http://www.victoriassecret.com/ss...earch=true How do they compare to the regular Eva shorts? Do they wrinkle badly? Linen is bad to do that. The Eva shorts in my size are on b/o. Would these be a good substitute? I really don't want to have to return anymore than I already am, so I need opinions before I buy.

I'm always too lazy to make omelets. We have a cooked breakfast on Sundays, because my DH makes it. That's about the only thing he cooks, but I don't do mornings. If he wants breakfast, he has to make it. laugh out loud

Bad knees can be quite debilitating. I need surgery on mine, so I know how you feel. hug It's hard to stay in shape, when exercise hurts so much. Even if you could handle the pain, it's probably not worth the damage it would do to your knees.

I feel that way about ships too. Planes are a different story. I know the odds are against it crashing, but I still hate to fly. I'd much rather take my chances in the water than falling from the sky. laugh out loud

Your DH sounds like a smart man. Teehee Order it now, then get a refund on the other one. You've already waited long enough.

I had the same deal with Lyme disease. It is really terrible. When I was a kid I had all kinds of problems and they sent me for blood work and I was positive, but for some reason they ran another test and that was negative so they never officially treated it. I used to get strep throat all the time so they said one of the antibiotics I had for that took care of it. Now I've heard the level of antibodies fluctuates, so somebody who has it can test negative. I've always stayed active though, since it's not much better when I'm not. It's funny how stuff like sitting a certain way for too long is worse for my knees than stuff like walking, biking or strength training.

i conclude i am not a limited person. i return more than i keep. and those that i keep, i'm not really 100% sold on.

came home from express empty-handed.
I like them less and less. It doesn't fit as well as it used to plus the sizes are bigger. Most of their stuff is too big. I should stop ordering. I return a lot of it.

Gh- I have no clue how the evas run so I'm not much help,

If you think they run bigger, I may try 2s. I just really hate to order anything else that may need to be returned.

I found an SAS catalog from last year that still has a lot of active items at the sale price, if anyone wants me to look for anything. I got really excited when one of the lingerie pieces I want was in there. It still pulls up at the sale price & shows that price in my wish list. Unfortunately, when I put it in my cart, it reverts to the current price. Dontknow Others are working though. Another of the babydolls I want is in there & working. woot I'd love to find it even cheaper, but that's probably not going to happen anytime soon. It's one of the more expensive ones.

On the subject of old catalogs, how far back should I keep them? I've tried some that have obviously expired, because the item numbers don't show up under search.

I don't own the Eva's but I do not recommend linen shorts. They always wrinkle. nod

They are usually pretty good. But walking down steps and anything that puts pressure directly on them is painful. Sorry to hear you need surgery. Luckily I'm not at that stage yet.

It's a wacky thing that is for sure. I was first diagnosed with a spider bite. Then it spread into my second knee and both of them locked up so I couldn't bend them so they did a lyme tater and found I had it. Something as simple as doxycylene cleared it right up too. But the damage was done. Glad yours was cleared up too, even if by accident.

I agree their stuff runs big. I stopped shopping there because DH says it's too conservative for me. Dontknow
