If you were a-list you should be grandfathered in. You should be getting free shipping on your orders.
I hope so! Still no card and haven't tried yet. Maybe I should.....

Oh no! Don't bake with these! They're not really butter-substitutes. Think: nut butter. However you would bake with peanut butter is how you should bake with coconut or almond butter. (or do what I do and eat a tbsp of it as a treat! yummy

I hope I meet the right guy soon-ish! I'd like to fall in love .. I think laugh out loud

Did you get the new card?
I was told in-store that everyone should have their new cards soon. Except, when I called Express CS, they told me that the complete roll-out of the program would not take place until May. Confused

Uh oh......I think I *have* to buy from Express today. laugh out loud
I was so excited about these new butters! Darn. I guess they're more like a spread. My peanut butter substitute is Nutella drool

I know this is cliche but, you will find the right guy when you're not looking. It happened to me Smilie but I do support getting out there and putting yourself out there which I'm sure you're doing anyway!
About Express, I haven't recieved my card either and I was A- list too. Hope I get the FS benefit, but haven't liked anything at Express for a while, so haven't attempted any purchases online

You shouldn't need a card. The account numbers are the same. You have to set up your next account online. Krusty will be more help on how to do that. She just had to and it's been several months since I did. I think that you can just set up your next account and use the same cc number and it will work. Not 100% sure though.

i ordered this [express.com]. i tried a different print in the store and it is cute. the back is super cute but i'm planning to wear it under a blazer or cardigan though laugh out loud

I like the halter top. Just wish it came in different colors. I think I'm too old to wear snake skin. I don't wear leopard either (Except for bras)

I am still looking for the right guy. My problem is that I'm not putting myself out there and I'm picky. I am divorced with two girls, so I only get every other weekend to go out. And then half the time the father doesn't take the girls. I have no one to go out with except my sister. I don't want to hang out in a bar by myself. Plus I feel like only the creepy guys are attracted to me.

I am no good at dating. I married my high school sweetheart, so I have never done the whole dating scene. Online dating scares me!

Here it is in solid black. It's so cute. I may order it tomorrow to get my bonus points!

I think I would do the online dating if I were single. I know some people that have found their husband doing that.

Krusty? Advice?
I set up my Next Account when I got the Express email about it.

I would go to the bar with you! Cheers
Online dating can be scary, but it's really not that bad. Also, you can email with the person first to see if they TyP LyK DiS or if they are educated/not a fool. laugh out loud

I'm currently doing the online dating thing. It's impossible for me to meet anyone from work or school (the boys are too young! vomit ). I prefer to date older.
Two of my friends met their husbands from online dating.

I'm not expecting marriage, but having fun with it. You do meet a handful of genuinely nice people...with a sprinkling of weirdos. Cool

I met my hubby online nod

wave ladies! Hope everyone is having a great day!

@GH and Icey - what I Was saying earlier about life pre-hubby and pre-baby...not that I enjoy the drama or the not having an SO part...I miss draining my bank account and not caring because I didn't have other people relying on me to be responsible...I miss waking up on a Saturday and deciding what I wanted to do then and not needing plans or anything...being able to jet off for a vacation at the mere thought...I miss the spontaneity. I'm big on that.

However, waking up next to someone you love every day is pretty awesome, watching my DD smile and laugh and learn new things is great! Evolving into a different person is good too - some days I just miss the freedom. Not that DH holds me back at all, I just have passed the age where being a stupid kid is acceptable. laugh out loud

That's awesome.

The guys I know from when I was younger (hs & college) that still go out regularly are mostly losers. I'd rather die an old maid than date most of them. They are still single for a reason.

so agree, but like the stability now.

laugh out loud Alvs, my 2 friends from college are like that, they always ask to set them up, but it will take a "special" person to be able to date those two "boys"

My friend dated a lot online, she was signed up for background checks! No joke! laugh out loud

Sorry I've been in absentia. We're having a meltdown in wedding land and I'm trying to put the flames out. It's pretty much a full-time job and we're only talking about shoes so far Facepalm Anni?- I remember you having links to shoe stores online that I had never heard of when you were showing us fun shoes, maybe it was for your B-maids? I've already looked at all the department stores across the US and all the obvious ones (shoe, shoebuy, shoemall, dsw, aldo, endless, etc) and I can't find what the bride is looking for. At this point, I've even been told my feet look odd and I can't wear shoes where the in-step is cut out. Bomb Send help!
...
Red wines- I like certain Zinfandels.. Merlot is too tart for me. I recommend the Zinfandel from "Powder Keg" / gray label ... this stuff actually has the aroma of BBQ believe it or not Crazy , also Paso Creek Zinfandel (2009)/white with label big black tree ... these are good ones to try from the store. I don't know how often you'll see them on a wine list... I hardly ever see anything I recognize unless its crappy or way too expensive. I love Rombauer - circa 2010? It's $45/bottle in -store, 2x as much in the restaurant. I hear this year's bottling sucked. When it's so expensive, you check blogs before you buy laugh out loud Anyway, when pouring reds at home definitely use an aerator likethis one. [amazon.com] Do a side by side taste test of pre-aerating and post, anyone can see the difference. It's a fun party trick. I think people enjoy a lot more reds when they do that. I know I do!
...
porda - what is it exactly that the bride wants you to wear? you'd love to be my BM - i just said 'dark grey shoes'. MOH asked if pumps are ok. i said sure! lol i really could care less, esp since the dresses will be different. MOH has good fashion sense tho, so i don't worry about her. Smilie

PM me - maybe i can think of some other stores you can try, or find you some more options. zappos? (if ur vip you get free next-day shipping and it's still free return shipping - i think i might be able to invite you to vip if you're not)

also, i agree that aerators are awesome. i love them. smoothes out any wine/liquor. nod

Kurpee, if your original order was on old address you are likely to get returns MC/GC at that address. I think porda had it happened and that is why I did my returns as a gift returns last time i did it. VS might find an return you the price you padi but that was ok with as long as i was getting my returns MC on new addy. HTH

I got my express next card and Now with this offer i am tempted to place an order. Do you girls usually pay for shipping all those times when there is no FS offer ? :s ly: or there is something I don't know yet : P
that is smart! i didn't think of the gift returns! and i know... the no FS is what's keeping me from ordering. i'm actually considering going to purchase stuff in the store, to get the bonus points! it'd def help get me to premier! but i'm still annoyed that my points haven't shown up yet.

I was told in-store that everyone should have their new cards soon. Except, when I called Express CS, they told me that the complete roll-out of the program would not take place until May. :confus ed:
...
i never had the old card... this may be my problem. i signed up for the cc in store one day, and the stupid SA didn't even type in my address correctly (he took my ID which it's printed on too but left off the apt #) let alone give me points. he told me to go home and sign up for it myself, which i did a couple of days later.
Quote from kurips :
oh my! this is a big factor in my plan! there will be so many though, i don't think i can get away without order info.

one other way i can do this is maybe actually get exchange merchandise. that way there will be tracking info, and it's their responsibility to get the item to me. then i'd return that exchange item and get gc... hot mess!

i may pm porda to confirm.
kurpee - i think they will accept gift returns on all of them. u can give them original order info so they can track it, but do it as a gift return so that the gc will go to the right address. when i called in about my 1 gift return, they were adamant that they needed an order # to trace the originating order.

if you want an alternative to oil or butter for cooking, try avocado. i have yet to try this, but i have heard that it tastes the same but it's good for you! avocado has the same texture as butter so i would think it would bake like butter. lmk if you try it!! (i haven't yet kuz i have a lot of butter at home... yes, i am unhealthy Blush) oh, the only thing is, it may turn some of your cake/etc green. but i know you love green so this shouldn't be an issue for you! laugh out loud

oh, and it IS cliche... but that is how it happened for me too. Smilie

Yeah, I was new to the area and was looking to meet some friends, no commitment because I was ACTUALLY enjoying being single at that point in my life. Hubby had a *minimum* 5 year plan too. Didn't work. According to him, we were supposed to date for at least 1 year before we moved in together, live together one year before we got engaged, be engaged for at least a year before we got married, be married for at least one year before we discussed kids. I met my hubby on December 1, 2009. We've been married 13 months and our daughter is 12 weeks laugh out loud

We never rushed anything, it just happened at a rate we were comfortable.
