BOGO half mix-and-match again!

Yes! Exactly! I will not say I had given up hope (and it is still early for nuSO and I), but I was not taking active steps to find a guy. So it is a bit ovrwhelming. My friends (in person and you all) have been very supportive, and I am grateful. I am also grateful that we have this thread..that we can talk abou more than VS. I did not get involved in people's personal stories when I started on SD. It is funny the connection we have and a lot of us have never met.

Express Queens, can I call in for Price match on express order I made yesterday?
Both items I ordered were full price and its BOGO 50% off ANY item today.

I just noticed that Express puts (at least) two different promos on their website.

On my desktop, the highest tiered discount is $50 off $150; but on my laptop, the highest tiered is $60 off $150 (code: 1304). Things like this irk me about stores!

They do that a lot. They do a $15 off $60 and $15 off $75 variation too .
VS does it too sometimes .

I bought some baby stuff for a friend that had a kid last year and OMG, it's EXPENSIVE!

You can consider Etsy [etsy.com]. The sellers says it's like ebay, but better. Most things are all handmade.

Kids stuff [etsy.com] So you might find it's worth the money because you can even personalize some stuff! Some of the stuff uses organic cotton too, which is nice, not that the baby will know.

i stick to cheaper things for babies, as they grow out of them in a few months. i usually shop at target or kohls and buy the carter stuff there. you can find some great deals in the clearance sections of both these stores (plus, stacking coupons etc at kohls). hth! i try not to spend more than $10 on any baby apparel item.

it CAN get expensive, but i find it's really unnecessary. case in point - my friend and i once bought a green juicy tracksuit for another friend's baby's 1st bday. it cost $50 at nordstrom rack. i don't think she ever wore it. she was a girly girl (most girls are at that age ) and didn't like things that weren't pink. what a waste of money!

oh and don't forget kurpee's dressy tux bib on amazon for $4!

Yeah - unfortunately, kid stuff is STUPID expensive. One thing I found I never had enough of - bibs. I just went and bought more today. Good, absorbent bibs are hard to find! Should be easy to pack too! (I just bought another 3 pack of the cute teething bibs from Carters today. Even at SteinMart they were $11.)

If you want an idea though, and it is cheap - this [walmart.com] was THE BEST gift I got at my baby shower. It is so so so so so so useful!!!

(I actually just looked this up to refer it to you and I had NO clue it was that cheap. It feels really nice and very substantial too! I would have thought $19.99 easy.)

Check the children's place. Lots of times they have good deals. I usually see deals for them in HD.

I know what you're aiming for- an example I can give so she'd understand how it feels , but I don't want to go that low... because it would be that she has features of a Troll. Don't get me wrong, I would love to throw that out there
Remember the room fiasco? Where they wanted me to share a bed with a groomsman's wife and 2 year old while both sides of the bridal party shared a room? This is that wedding- so I'm the backup after the first one fled.

:nod :Yes, we (me and another BM) were exactly discussing that today... the pictures, and how we could convince her that if she's a better bride, she'll get better BMs. It happens in late August. The groom has been asking the co-worker BM if we're looking at including his sister in the bachy party... that tells me his mom has been asking him...
Yep. It's a bridge she'll wish she hadn't burned. Right now I'm going to pretend the sister has joined the PeaceCorps and ships out the week before the wedding because that's just too big of an oversight for it to not be intentional. My theory is that it's a tit-for-tat. Her brother is not in it, so his sister can't be. :facepalm1:
I feel like I can be more frank with her b/c I don't have much to lose... she's only a friend by association and I like those shoes and I wouldn't want any studs to come off!

we've gotten used to it :lol : usually they release the worse version first in the website. then the email which would have better code.

white... that is what i have. it is very lovely but the back goes high for me, it gave me blisters. i've worn twice only and it wasn't better the 2nd time so i wore with open zipper. i'm not sure if it will get better at all with more wear.

you're not missing anything. their shoes are not great, especially for the price they put on them.

Yesterday the tier code was not working on clearance,today clearance is also BOGO 50% off and tier works on them So I was finally able to order color block sweater [express.com] in coral, been eying it for ever but it was OOS in XS. It was available when I ordered today it came down to 14.99 after bogo and I was able to use $15 off tier on sandal and sweater purchase I know sweaters is not the right purchase now but I "wanted" it

How does returns on tier work with express? If I return one thing from order, do I lose Next reward points too? Sorry for too many questions. I guess this is me finally jumping in Express band wagon with you all
