i think i'm going to try to buy it at ulta to try out, so i can return if it doesn't work for me. whenever i find a 20% coupon... 1 review said the curls didn't stay so i am worried that may happen to me. my hair is super thick and is harder to curl than most.

Ikat Dress in White [express.com] <- cute for going out. A little see-through though...then again, I was wearing bright blue undies so that could be it.
Striped Dress in Indigo [express.com] <- love this! Very nautical style. The only thing is, the stripes don't line up very well on the side seams...I'm trying to fight the OCD on this.
Knit Mini Skirt in Black [express.com] <- Alvs, this is def. very cute! I will prob. go back and get the other 2 colors later.
I could handle the video games, if it wasn't the same game repeatedly. The repeating commentary is what drives me crazy. I also don't like it, when the people he plays against online think we're interested in hearing their private conversations. They use a microphone & I have to listen to their colorful language that I'd rather not hear. Although, we did get a good laugh out of it a couple nights ago. Some guy was playing the same love song over & over. After about the 3rd time, we were cracking up.

DH is a gamer too. He used to be really into modding games and works with someone on a game he is trying to release. His son moved to Canada and it's a great way for them to keep a bond, they play together a few times a week. Now my 13 year DD plays with them so it's good for all three of them. My younger DD and I aren't good at gaming so we shop. :lol :
Sooooo I have to buy something for my 13 yo DD to wear to an award ceremony. Why is shopping for her so hard! I look at dresses and think too short, too low cut, to trashy.....she is at the age where little girls dresses are to babyish and junior dresses are sometimes a little to teen for her. And what does one wear to an award ceremony anyway????? Help!
It's great that your DH can interact with his DS from so far away. Technology can be a great thing. It's good for the kids too.
I don't play games either. They always bored me.
How about a cute sundress for your DD? As long as it has straps, it shouldn't look too old for her. I'm sure she wouldn't even look at dresses that are too young for her, so that shouldn't be an issue.
Sorry I am less talkative I am just so sad I have to leave talks here and study for exams - its still almost 3 weeks but 2 papers, 1 presentation and 2 finals :eek : to do by May 15th.

My DH would love that room. He wanted to buy a two-story house to have a theater room upstairs. There's no way I could do steps on a daily basis, so he went as far as contacting someone about putting an elevator in a home. I had to burst his bubble & tell him he was crazy to think a theater was worth all that money. Yeah, I'm a mean wife.

I called VS CC because I never got my triple points for 3/17 purchase, the girl tried to tell me there were there but I could not see them and that they were part of the ones that were used to redeem for my RC. I told her the only ones I see are for my bra. She decides to give me the bonus points, says you will get 134 more points, I think I should have gotten 140 but I let it go.
