I think it might be a good idea to donate stuff to these guys Wink I think I am going to try to do that myself this summer.
I have a lot of gently worn clothes to donate. I usually bag the items and dump them in the big "clothing drive" bins that I see in different shopping centers. Is that not the best way?

laugh out loud i know. they are both nice! i think naked 2 has lighter colors - naked 1 has a lot of darks suitable for a smoky eye. naked 2 has more medium colors, probably more suitable for day wear. not to say you can't do that with naked 1.

I know some of the bins around here are actually for the city of Milwaukee which is almost 3 hours away from me. So if you would like the clothing to stay in your area, it is better to donate to a local charity.

That's what I've been doing to lose weight, and it works just fine. Plus I feel like losing 14 lbs. in 9 days (or whatever) is too fast... and likely all water weight, anyway.

I could just make my own juice and enjoy it for what it is alongside water. I like food too much to go on a juice fast, I think. And I hate feeling hungry. Nono

my coworker juices, but she eats a regular breakfast and lunch, only juices for dinner meals 7 days a week. sometimes she does 2 meals on the weekend when she stays home since it's more convenient. i've noticed her skin has cleared up a lot...
she also couples her diet with gym and exercise though, so i've definitely seen noticeable changes in a month's time

Didn't we use to get FS on VIP at Bloom? It isn't anymore! Mad I checked their VIP program page, and it shown FS on returns! I am not liking them at all! I had $26 bloom dollars, and finally found something to buy, but then I had to up my order to $49+ ($14 more than what I really intended to order since I don't want to waste my $6 on shipping) Ranting

i don't remember that... did we get fs? i never bothered to care about bloom vip bc i used up all my certs/bloom$.

I think we did. If you searched bloom vip on google, other sites say you get fs as one of the perks. I had the bloom dollars because I had remorse on one of my cert orders, they don't refund even the $6 excess I had over the cert value. My orig order was $46, kept the $20, they refunded me all the $26 as bloom dollars. I was thinking it was fine since (1) I had VIP and (2) more cert deals will come. It's been a while now since they had vouchers, and I couldn't wait anymore since I've been stalking the site for my TheBalm Nude Tude. So instead of me just adding $10 oop, I had to use $14 in fillers Ranting (I tried to be smart about it laugh out loud Bought a leave in conditioner for my fried ends, and dh's hair styling product that he regularly uses)

TheBalm Nude Tude is BIS if anyone wants it, it's been a while since they had it in stock. Very highly recommended by emilynoel, I think she likes it more than the Naked. You should add it to your collection, Anni Teehee Even I couldn't resist it and I've been in a palette diet for a long while now.

I'll have to test the swatches myself. I like shadows that have a bit of shimmer, not too matte.

Good tip! I have my items mostly organized. For the gently worn/used items I'll toss in the bins. My brand new cosmetics/sandals/women's items, I will research a women's shelter nearby to donate to.

nod A lot of people go on the juice fasts and lose a bunch of water weight only to gain it all back once they resume their normal diet. Let me step on my soapbox a minute....IMO, the best way to lose weight and keep your sanity is to make healthy lifestyle changes. Take one small step at a time and you will be able to do much better for the long haul.

i agree. i need to work on not being cheap when it comes to buying more healthy foods! The SD mentality is strong! Wish the healthier things would go on sale more often rather than those delicious flaming hot cheetos and chips.. drool

baby steps at a time really help. it keeps you sane and it won't feel like deprivation. Soon later , it'll become more natural to be more aware and health conscious

I usually only watch hers and Marlena's from Makeup Geek. Gives me new products to try. I need new products to try like I need a hole in the head! But the thickening lotion and Benefit Dandelion blush are hard for me to resist. Oh and I saw the powder brush from Sigma she uses so now I want to buy that. Teehee

I hear you! It's definitely a challenge to stay on your path b/c there's temptation at every turn. But by being more aware of your choices, you are already better than the majority of people who do not give a thought to what they put in their mouths (and bodies).

I try to think of buying food this way...it's an investment towards your health. We spend so much in all other areas of our lives, but then we skimp when it comes to our most important asset.
