i didn't realize amazon holds your money for sold textbooks for a long time. i've some money on there now, so i looked at how to get paid, and it looks to me like they pay after 21 days! Faint

and what's funny is i've sold there some time ago, but i never got paid. i am actually losing money (not to mention, the book) by selling laugh out loud i sold like 3 pregnancy books and got negative balance after commissions and shipping. i figured this out after i sold the first, but i told myself, i don't have use for these books, might as well someone use them, and get me a feedback. i haven't received feedback Mad and one of the books, i told you about before, tracking says delivered, but buyer says she didn't receive. i gave her back the money (lost book, lost shipping money), but figured it was a small price i paid for the lesson learned (i'm an optimistic person) Facepalm i sold textbooks this time, so i bought insurance. hopefully if something goes wrong, claiming insurance will not be pita.

Can you request a disbursement of funds? (There's usually a link). Unless there's a reason they're holding it for 3 weeks...

i don't see any links. the 3 weeks is how i interpreted their terms.

Amazon attempts to disburse available funds to your bank account every 7 days.

Amazon always holds an amount equal to the total payment of orders that you confirmed as shipped in the 14 days prior to the disbursement date.

I also found my tape measure. I measure 30 in around the bottom of my breasts and 35 in around the breasts. I guess that is a 30 DD laugh out loud. I'm going to try 32 D's when I can start wearing normal bras again!

Sorry you are having a difficult time with Amazon. If you have the site view that looks like it's new and for the Kindle, there should be a link on the top right that says "disbursement" or recent payment. It should show you how much you have. I've always disbursed into my account once I ship the book.

I think when you're setting the price for your book, it always shows the amount you will make after fees and shipping credit from Amazon, which should help you price your books.

That sucks. Sorry to hear you're having such trouble.

I gave them a call. He explained it to me, and it is the way I had understood the terms. They have the money on reserve for 14 days. Then pay you on the next disbursement date which may be an additional week or less depending on when you sold the item, total of 15-21 days before you get paid. Then 3-5 days before it shows up in your bank account.

It seems like you gals can take the money whenever you sold. I even asked him if this is the process for everyone, and it's not just taking longer for me because I'm new, and he said it is. I also have asked him if he sees any reason in my account that will prevent me from getting paid (like missing bank account info etc) he said it all looks ok. It looks like I'll be waiting until the 21st of this month to see if I'm going to get paid.
