Loving the digging the small hole in the sand idea! I think I may attempt this next time. The only valuable things I would have are keys and phone. I think I'm just afraid that people will steal anything and surely if they snag a bag, something will be valuable Frown , I have enough magazines, I should just bring those- leave the Kindle for pool time. shake head As for the tote- the stitching coming undone is not at the stress point connecting to the body of the tote, it's just the seam on the wrap of the handle if that makes sense. Structural integrity remains uncompromised!

Thanks Smilie She seemed to take it well. Appreciated being told how I felt and exactly why, said she'd try to do better... though didn't like me bringing up her comments about bridesmaid appearances- hair color, etc. She told her fiancee about that one part and he told the co-worker BM, "She's calling her a nazi, my fiancee might not get that but I do". nod In her reply, she added a PS- saying that she was totally joking about all that stuff. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Beyond that, we took the week off while I was on the trip and it was good. She has since sent a funny picture, so I guess we'll start talking soon.

Yikes! I've had a horse trip twice in the same trail once. Good thing nothing happened. I haven't gone horseback riding since then, but eventually I'll go back....I will know now not to yanked the reins. EEK! I've seen people ride the young horses and train them, it's crazy how much they jerk around!

I actually go pretty much all the way to the end of Balboa Island at Newport. Southern tip, I presume, away from the pier and the crowds! Super crowded in that area you're talking about shake head Bring what people won't want to take for sure! nod

This one lives at his trainers. She knows better than to do that. I guess it just happened really fast.

I've been looking into horseback riding for fun - just looking for places offering trail rides. The prices vary so much around here! I need to research a bit more.

I'm sure you can definitely find a well priced place to go horseback riding. I had to look around and went to a few. Some charged as much as $45 an hour!! OMG The most recent favorite place of mine is quite reasonable. I think it's $20 an hour or so, but it's in a less populated area, so I think it depends. But keep looking~! It's a lot of fun!
