No, I didn't try it cross back with the bra. I don't see that working at all because of the low back, so you definitely need a bra that can do low back. Not only that, the criss cross on the dress itself is at an angle, not perfectly an X as a cross back on a bra would be. Since you're not a fan of clear straps, I could suggest going with black straps or, nude straps. It's invisible from the front because the straps of the front of the dress hide it. The only reason I said clear is because if you want to wear your hair up with the dress (to show off the back), the halter bra strap will peak out slightly at the back of your neck.

Man...I need to try it on a couple more times before I decide if I should try a Size two. I'm just afraid it won't fit me since I never fit anything Size 2 in VS. laugh out loud

when i tried the gorgeous demi i tried it cross-back/low back. the straps were almost hidden! i think they only peeked out a little bit. i guess i never really do halter bra with racerback/crossback unless i'm wearing a bikini, and it always shows for me.

i should have just brought you my size 2 to try, before sending it back. Stick Out Tongue don't you wear xs in tops sometimes? if the 4 is a bit loose you should def try the 2! but yeah upto you... it'll also depend on how you wash that dress. i have a feeling that fabric may shrink a bit...

I gave it a whirl with cross back! It CAN work, I just have 1 trouble strap that won't hide, but it's nothing that pinning won't fix. I got these rhinestone straps from many years back and it would be kind of fun to wear the rhinestone straps and have it show in the back as a halter or something! laugh out loud shake head

Anyway, I tried adjusting the straps and it could be how I wear the bra. The lower the strap around your stomach goes, straps seems to show more. I am noticing that one side of the double straps on the dress splits more than the other, but again could be the way I'm wearing it since I'm not playing around with it much, but I'm thinking it's the angle of the straps on the dress. You could be right about the fabric shrinking...Anyway, what you could do is bring the dress with you to VS, try on the multiway in the room along with the dress and see how it works, but I suggest investing in one for sure!

I wear XS in Express and Bebe because their sizes are so inflated. I've only done a couple of XS with VS, but it was cause I was swimming in their small! shake head
