Morning! VS SAS going to take all our money! :lol :
We need to all make a pact to not talk about VS until SAS. At this rate, I'm not going to have any money left for SAS. EEK!

Sorry you missed out on the stuff on your wishlist. I hate when that happens. Unfortunately, I can only sew a little by hand, so I can't do any major alterations. I wish I could sew. When I was young, I wasn't at all domesticated. Home Ec. was the last class I would have taken. I did dye curtains once. It took forever to get the dye out of my washing machine. Dyeing fabric isn't hard at all. I just need a more efficient way to do it.
I always dye on the stove. I'm terrified to do it in the washing machine because of it getting on my other clothes, even though it seems easier. I love sewing and I'm not at all a domestic person. I like being creative and more importantly having things that fit right. It's funny because by trade I'm a welder, and can make practical comparisons between sewing and metal fabrication (knowing your materials, using geometry, etc.). It makes me rethink how peculiar I really am.

Tizzy, my DH went to both stores & they didn't have any Philosophy. He asked at one of them & they said they had never had any. Maybe, it's regional. Dontknow

Not peculiar, just unique. Smilie I'm sure there aren't too many female welders out there. My niece's DH does welding at nuclear facilities. He's very well paid. He's retiring soon at 45. If you're strong enough to do it, why not go for the bigger paycheck. I think it's great you can do that.

Booo hisss. Oh well saves me a trip and money. I'm going to Express this week to buy some new crops/jeans so more money towards that. Wink

BTW..... anyone ever have problems with the smell of VS Angels black bra out of the box? I have washed mine twice now and it still smells weird. All my other bras never had this funky smell when I ordered them. I can't get rid of it! Frown

That looks awesome on you! I love that color too. Now I want one again. The length looks perfect in your pictures. Do you mind if I ask how tall you are? I'm 5'5'' with a long torso and I think that dress will be too short on me.

Thanks! I don't make much money though. Right now I work for my boyfriend's family business. There's not even much welding these days sine they replaced their most troublesome piece of equipment, but it's a fun job overall. I really want to get a job with my brother, he travels around the country and does repairs on power plants as well.

hmmm the back makes it a bit young looking, doesn't it. i love the open cross-back tho! it's very me.
i really love the yellow color, but for some reason the yellow one doesn't fit me as well as the turquoise. yellow one is a bit tighter in the straps so it fits higher.

and i don't think i've smelled anything weird with angels bras... maybe you got a bad one? i would do an exchange and see if it was just a dud.

i'm 5'5-5'6 (i think i'm actually 5'5 and 5/8 or something, so i usually round up to 5'6), but i have a short torso. i think most of my height is in my thighs actually. i feel like that dress is a bit short in the torso (i feel like it's just a tad off from my natural waist and bc of the way my proportions are, it would flatter me more if it were longer in the waist before it flared out) but if you think it's the perfect length on me it should be the same on you!

My niece's husband travels the world. He's been everything. They've actually spent very little time living together. They got married very young & have been married over 25 years. Just so I don't sound ancient, this is my niece that's only 10 months younger than I. Wink She says she doesn't know if they'll make it a year after he retires. Stick Out Tongue They hardly know each other after all these years. None of his coworkers are still married. If spouses could do that job together, it would be quite an adventure.

I guess I didn't pay that much attention to the dress online. Blush On you it does look youthful. I'll try it on for my DH to see what he thinks. Knowing him he'll say to keep it like he always does. Rolleyes2 If it looks too young, but he likes it, I can make it a vacation dress so the people I know won't think I'm trying to recreate my youth. laugh out loud

hmmmm, vs processed my big box of returns and i think they got everything right, except for 1 item - it was a bra where they originally charged me shipping when they weren't supposed to. they fixed the problem, but now with the return they are retracting the fix - they probably think the credit was for a price adjustment when it was not. to make it worse, originally they had mistakenly credited my account twice for the 1 shipping charge (so they credited 15.20 when it should have been 7.60). now they took a 15.20 adjustment from my return (when it should have been 7.60). i don't even know how to explain this to them, bc it's so confusing that it took me 20 minutes just to recall what actually happened. this was a bra order from 10 months ago. i've been returning a lot lately and definitely would not want to draw attention to my account. you think it's worth it to ask about this mistake? at least i wasn't charged for return shipping for this box bc i used a free return label.
