My hair is the opposite. It doesn't hold as well with a curling iron. It doesn't hold a pretty curl overnight with any method though.
I have fine hair and my hair never holds a curl except when I use the Remington wand. When I wake the next day it still has a loose curl/wave in it. Just did my DD's hair and she woke up today with beachy waves this morning too.

It's nice to see you call a 45 yr. old. a girl. Stick Out Tongue I'm getting there quickly. EEK! I don't wear jeggings though. That's another one of those been there done that styles I just don't feel like repeating. It's not as much fun the 2nd time around.
I live in jeggings. So comfy and they make my butt booty-licious. nod Teehee

Cute video!

Yah, I agree about the glove. My hand feels constrained and I end up using the gloved hand to hold the base of the wand and my non glove to wrap my hair instead Crazy
Hahahaha that is so funny that is exactly what I was doing. LMAO Or if I did use the right hand the glove made it hard to grab the ends to hold on to the iron. I figured screw it, might as well try it without it and it's working so much better for me. I can control it better.

She will probably want you to do her hair all the time now! laugh out loud

I agree about the holding technique. I figured one or two burns are okay...Just need to not burn myself now.

I have to agree with the other ladies here no age limit if you can rock em' do it. nod How long are they on you? I wanted these in the sweet raspberry but they didn't have them in short sizes so I opted for the denim. Are they really long?
about 2 inches too long. i can fold them in (doesn't bother me with small leg openings) or out. or i can let it wrinkle in the end.

wanted them ideally to be just the right length, but options are limited.

the legs aren't as tight on me as on the models in size 2, and there's some extra room in the waist, the 0 might work. i ordered 2 and 4, i probably should have ordered 0 and 2. i have skinny legs and large waist, so it will be a tradeoff. i usually go a little looser than a little tighter, my size tendency is to go up than down anyway.

For you, my dear, picture. Took me forever to figure out to take it. I usually have double mirrors to look at my hair in the bathroom and tried doing it that way, turned out terrible! shake head I kind like how my hair looks now though with the looser waves, less like I'm going out and looks more relaxed. nod

received my lilac leggings [express.com]. what is the age limit on colored bottoms? PaperbagLMAO
I dont think it's a matter of age, it's a matter of how they fit/look.

Thanks for the info. I just tried on my Stella Extreme Stretch Jean Legging [express.com] and am not thrilled with them. They look too much like a legging and not enough jean for me. I'm so bummed. Sadwalk

i have several pairs of those in size 4. i think the reason that works for me is because my legs are unproportionately skinny. this lilac that i bought is not as tight as that one and i have the size 2. that's probably why they called those jeggings extreme stretch.

I have curves but I own other jeggings that look like skinny jeans which I like. These just looked to "knit" and not enough jean. I think I might try the Zelda's or VS' Sirens or Love Skinny jeans. Girly

For those looking for dry shampoo. Jonathan Product has 50% off & FS (expires today). https://www.jonathanproduct.com/home.php?cat=288 I noticed they have dry shampoo for different hair colors. That may be better for those of you with dark hair. I don't use dry shampoo, so I don't know how good it is.

GH, you're still young! I truly believe that a lot of how "old" anybody comes off is in their attitude.

I'm in my mid 20s and I absolutely can not wear jeggings. They make me look like I have sausage legs, even though I don't. I just don't have super slim calves or thighs.
hug

I have curvy hips, so they never looked great on me either. I haven't tried them in years, so I don't know if they've changed. I think I've just seen trends come & go, until I'm no longer interested in buying trendy clothes. That shows how old I am. Embarrassment I did buy trendy clothes when I was younger, so I totally understand why other people buy them. Maybe, I'm just too cheap to invest in trendy clothes now. Stick Out Tongue
