I always had decent skin with some clogged pores, but now that I had a baby my skin is TERRIBLE! I have to relearn a skincare regimen and how to do my makeup, because I never had to wear foundation heavily before. Boo!
In the past, when I had the worst skin, it was because I was over-treating it and my guess is that it disrupted my skin's natural balance. For example, even though I stopped having serious acne, I was still using overnight acne serums. Finally, a few years ago, I laid off this skin regime and things have never looked better.
Now, I just make sure my face is always clean of makeup before bed/after workouts and I use a toner (Clinique 3) after every wash. Moisturize also!
What kind of skincare regimen are you following now?

eta: i'm looking at the swatches in estee lauder site and i may be a shade 4 not 3.
What did you end up getting Kurpee? I think I may order these [express.com] using my online code. I have no idea what I wanna get in-store though cuz I pretty much already have everything I really want. And my store doesn't have a real great selection of accessories.

not weird - awesome! :l ol: i would just take them and hope that it doesn't stop...
i think it may be in part bc we have black/dark hair. i find dark hair tends to be more shiny - when i had lighter hair it wasn't as shiny.

btw if you're trying out foundations, one that came as a rec from aya (where IS that girl??) is estee lauder double wear light. i went and got myself a 2nd bottle of it today (traded in my advanced night repair for that and double wear concealer) kuz it's that awesome. if you can find a color match (i think there are only 5) it is seriously an amazing foundation - covers well and stays put ALL DAY without budging, even through sweating!

*i cinched blue dress with belt since it looked too straight on me without one
*yes there is some bunching on the magenta dress sinceit isn't shaped, i guess because it's a t-shirt dress. i think the dress can be cuter using different belts.

What is Nordys return policy on cosmtics? Any advice on shades anyone? I am of greek descent so I have more olive skin and warmish undertones, but am a lot lighter than I used to be. I tend to be on the light or light medium spectrum now. I don't tan either as I never go outside - seems I don't have time anymore! I would love to get this kit
