i this skirt [express.com] i tried on yesterday. will wait for it to be on sale. there is a more colored option here [express.com]. i saw that too but didn't try it on.

I love the colors in the blue skirt! It's definitely going on my list. I'd like to have a top in the lightest blue color to wear with it. This shipping situation stinks. I feel like a junkie needing a fix.

ETA: I just looked at the sizes in the blue skirt. They only have 0 & 2. I may need a 4. I hope they stock more sizes.

and there is no choice on the concealer shade... so i guess they'd match the foundation?

we need the gwp though. it seems they just had it in april.

If anyone wants to wait, Macy's is having an Estee Lauder GWP starting June 5th. It looks like the same one Estee Lauder recently had on their site.



I'm not actually going until next week. I was counting last night as this week. My sister's family is coming to visit. They always think I have to do everything with them. They'll be staying here for a few days, & going to WDW for 4 nights. I have another sister bringing her family in July, so I'll have to do it all again. My DH just loves that. :rolle ye: He won't even go to bed w/o me at night. He really hates it, when I'm away from home & he can't go.

Both of my sisters have 1 yr. old grandsons that are going to Disney for the first time. It's never too soon to take them, as long as you realize the memories you'll be making are for you. So many people say their preschool kids remember everything about their trips to WDW. IMO, they're living in Fantasyland. : P They sound ridiculous saying that, but I won't be the one to burst their bubble. :l ol: What they're remembering is mom/dad reminding them about their trip on an almost daily basis. Yet some parents are totally convinced their preschooler actually remembers riding Small World or meeting Mickey.

Where does your sis work at WDW?



I'm still on the fence about ordering. If I knew everything would fit, I wouldn't mind paying $8 shipping. As kurpee said, it's worth it for the convenience. If nothing fits & I just lose $8, I'll be very unhappy with myself. I know me too well. :l ol:

Just the foundation tube is full size. The concealer is mini (.06 oz I think) and primer is about the size of normal primer deluxe samples. The concealer is a good one tho! Haven't tried the primer yet.

Really? What foundation shade do you match right now in Mac? I have read nc42 to use 4. Nc35 should be 3 I think.

I would think any dept store counter would accept returns on open items. Nordstrom is especially good about returns. If you're light to light-medium, try 2. I find all the shades to be neutral enough to work on olive undertones, which is what I am too.

Also, be careful with Clinique 3 step. I used to use it, and it kept my skin clear for awhile. (I think I went thru 2 bottles of the toner - I used 2 I think) after the initial period where my skin was great, it started to turn on me. I think bc all the clarifying lotions are alcohol-based except the mild one, they are harsh on your skin and in the long run do more damage than good. After I eventually stopped using it, I noticed I had extremely uneven skin tone, and extremely dry skin. Alcohol does a lot of damage to your skin (you can do a search) so I would recommend stopping the clarifying lotion or at least switching to the mild one. Jmho.

That's when I bought my kit from Nordstrom, during the gwp. The concealer shade that comes with 3 works for me. That's the one I bought a full size of.

I did. They had lots of dresses and skirts in stock not sure on the sizes tho since the only dress I wanted to try was the blue striped one Kurips posted. That dress they didn't have in my size. I am not sure how the weekend will affect their stock being it's a big shopping weekend. They didn't have many sizes in jeans left. They are B1G1 50% off so they were low on sizes. That's why I didn't get to try a lot of jeans I wanted too. I figured I'd go back in a couple weeks when they aren't on sale just to see what sizes and styles I like then wait for a good sale to buy them. :nod :

There is a GWP on $35 at Belk and BonTon, but it's just skincare stuff. (I just looked again and there is a lipstick and mascara too, oops) Plus no free shipping at either unless you hit $50 at Belk.

Ha, I was lazy about my skin before I got preggo - now I can't be! : ( My sis is a manager at Old Key West resort. She loves her job : nod: Wish I did!

I'll probably go next summer. We may have went this year if we didn't have plans to go see my family in Michigan for the holidays this year. My mom went off the rails on her crazy train though so now I may not be going - I would love to go to Disney for Thanksgiving instead!

Kids don't need memories. I have a camera : ) :l ol: She can start remembering when she is 6 or 7, I'll just take her again : )

Thanks for the heads up on the toner. I have a huge bottle left but it's the one for oily skin, not the mild one. I've just been trying to get my skin to clear up and maybe I am doing more harm. I'll lay off it for a couple weeks and see how it does. I appreciate the info : )

I just bought the Lorac Natural Performance foundation and I do like it - but I am still looking for the OMG I LOVE THIS stuff foundation.

Thanks for the Belk info. The EL DoubleWear set works with the GWP. You'd need to add $7.50 to get FS. I wonder what's cheap in beauty. I've bought that set before, but gave the foundation to one of my nieces who saw it & wanted it. They know I can't say no to them. Every time I go up there or they come here, my makeup bag gets emptied. If they come here, my stash gets raided too. I think I'll order the set & hide it this time. The foundation is full size, but the other products aren't. It's still a good deal. Does anyone know, if they sell the set in stores @ Belk. We have one we could walk to. If they have them, I may send my DH to get it. That way I won't have to spend $7.50 more. FWIW, the Macy's & Belk GWPs are a little different.

I've never stayed at OKW, but one of my sisters has. She really liked it. It seems more laid back than the other resorts. Your sis may be able to get you cheaper tickets & rooms. The cast member discount is supposed to be really good. Thanksgiving can be a great time to visit. Thurs. - Sun. is crowded. The days leading up to Thanksgiving & the days after the weekend are a great time to go though. They start decorating for Christmas at that time. The Christmas season is my favorite time to visit WDW. Let me know, if you decide to go & need any planning help.

I actually have never been there, I'd never heard of it until I moved to Louisiana. I will probably order the 2...but I don't feel like burning $50 if it isn't a match.

As far as my sisters discount... We get free entry to all parks, half off resort and 30 - 50% off any souvenirs. I'm SUPER stoked to go, it's just so hard to find time. I will def let you know if I need any planning help, Xmas time would be awesome!!

where do you get samples? if you don't mind and if it doesn't take too much of your time, i'd love some, in 3 and 4. will pay for the shipping it's very hard for me to look around in malls since i always go with family. they only have energy for my browsing at express, and that's stretching it

I'm sure Express would sell more, if they always offered FS at some price point. People are no longer willing to pay shipping. There's too many stores that offer FS now to pay for it.

I really do need to get to the mall. That's the smart thing to do. When my sister's family is here next week, they'll make me go everywhere with them. I'll probably end up going then. I hope my Express store has a good inventory.
