why are you against spanx? most wedding dresses have all that suction stuff built in - there were a bunch that i tried on that i wouldn't need anything for (i.e. anything that had the inner boning going down to hip level rather than waist). mine stops at the waist - it was probably a bad idea for me to pick this one bc of this, but i loved it anyway and figured i could spanx it to control the problem area. like azn said it should fit better after alterations. once the top fits the bottom won't look as weird bc the top won't slide down and create the fold. i hope. no dress comes in and fits you perfectly tho (unless you get one with a corset back, or are extremely lucky to have measurements that fits one of their sizes). in retrospect i may have been better off getting one of the dresses that fit me perfectly. but oh well!

It's not that I'm against Spanx in general. I just don't think they're comfortable, & I'm all about comfort. I didn't mean to give you the wrong impression. hug

I'm glad you at least got the dresses. All the clearance dresses I wanted went OOS. We need a % off code on full priced items at Express.

I soo agree with you. I have a tummy problem, but I cannot stand the feeling of the Spanx or any shaper like that. I once tried on a Miraclesuit bathing suit--while I loved how it looked, it was not worth it to me not to be able to breathe. Maybe because I am older, and care about comfort more...same with me and shoes.

guess no one has any updates on additional discounts on bras/panties at VS? I got an email saying today's the last day of SAS.

over the weekend, I did visit VS (Del Amo Mall in Torrance, CA) and additional 50% off sleepwear/PINK, but price as marked on panties/bras.
