The function is certainly amazing...I mean seriously, you put half the specs and flowcharts, diagrams, processes, standard operating procedures on one microscopic structure, throw a bazillion other variations of a complementary half of specs, flowcharts, diagrams, processes, and sops on a bazillion other microscopic structures, and then one factory can take that and some amino acids, energy, and nutrients and pretty much build an entire person that will eventually run your life for 18+ years...damn right it's miraculous...

Well I kinda meant the female body when I said one "factory" Implying that no other input from the other designer was required. Was trying to keep with the industrial theme of my analogy...

Watching my kids evolve on the ultrasounds really impressed me beyond words...I mean I had bio, and even took some genetics classes back when I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but nothing really solidified my amazement like watching it in progress...

5 or 6 each kid I think, wife was considered high-risk...but just seeing them go from amorphous blob to lizard, to alien astronaut to infant was crazy...

It was almost nine years ago... That wasn't standard back then. Things have changed a lot.
