when someone asks you how old your kid is and you say something like 18 months or 20 months, you sound retarded!! start saying your kid is year and a half old or a year and 10 months old.
are you trying to project your child being older than they really are?
some stupid hag was talking about her kid and stomach asked how old it was, she said 24 months. at which point he ended the convo about her retarded kid since she was too stupid to refer to them as 2 years old. dumb wench.

when each month is more important than the last you count each one so your kid isn't 2 years old because hell, how important have the last 2 years of your life been?
After you find out you're having one you breathe a sigh of relief after 2 months because the chances of miscarriage are reduced, 4 months because you learn the sex, 6 months because you're almost full term, 8 months because you have to prepare for their arrival.
After they come its exactly the same, 2 months you will know if they have many forms of retardation or other brain defects, 3 months they smile, 6 months SIDS is unlikely, 8 months and they are crawling, 12 months they cruise, 14 they take their first step, 18 they're talking more, 20 they say they love you, 24 they can hold basic conversation and the list goes on and on.
There is a limit however, I don't wanna hear your kid is 68 months old. Hes in second grade for gods sake.
