Rachel IS annoying, but it's hilarious. Brenchel is actually the only reason I'm watching this season. After the snowboarders elimination last year (which was a joke to begin with) and it was apparent that Cindy and Ernie were going to win (shudder), I had no plans to ever watch again. But Rachel's insanity and ability to breakdown over the tiniest thing reeled me in. It's like a trainwreck. You just have to see it.

That all being said, the boarder patrol guys are so pathetic. Everything out of their mouth is "Big Brother this" and "Big Brother that". They need to get over it and focus on their own game and strategies. I really don't want to hear their bitching anymore. I hope they get eliminated soon.

And last night's elimination was not surprising at all...

I do have a question, though. How do they determine whether or not to eliminate someone? Like when they say someone MAY be eliminated. Is elimination determined beforehand, regardless of the events that transpire? Do they play it by ear based on who's last? Or how far behind the last place team is? Anyone know?

Still to early in the season for me to like any particular teams. Too many teams left that I don't like or otherwise shouldn't be there in the first place. The former BB winner is such a whiner I will be happy to see her go (I do not watch BB).

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I was hoping that a more deserving team would have gone home.

The watermelon stacking roadblock was interesting in that it appears that several teams seemed to approach it with no strategy or a bad one. If I were doing that I would pay more attention to the sample stack and do it that same way AND try to pick melons that were approximately the same size. I would not try to stack them "but" end up as one team tried.

Interesting to see a team take a 2 hour penalty for not completing a task and not getting eliminated as a first time ever as well.

Wasn't happy about who went home at all really. Really sick of Brenchel. And the previews for next weeks episode show her having another useless whining, crying episode. She cries in every episode and I'm ready for those two to go home.

Three. All three episodes are still available for free at the CBS site though.

oh goodie Big Grin i can watch them after work.

Time Warner Cable has this "Primetime On Demand" option that actually has a lot of shows available for free, but Amazing Race isn't one of them.

Comcast on demand doesn't have very many of the shows that I wish it had either,. But for some reason one of the ones I was looking for recently wasn't on the TV menu, but using an iphone app it was findable???

I still prefer the DVR since I can fast forward (no pun intended) through the commercials and on some on Demand stuff you can't.

yeah, but since Time Warner only allows two programs to DVR at one time, it gets annoying some weeknights that i have two shows recording and i have to either watch something i've already DVR'd or just put in a movie since i can't watch another channel laugh out loud

Your problem is that you are using a cable company supplied DVR, I am using a standalone Philips/Magnavox DVR connected to an antenna and can record something like 80 hours of whatever I want on it.
