Before EBT's and the food stamps/monopoly looking food stamp money to purchase food at grocery stores, people received commodities. You would go to a central distribution center and pick up your commodities consisting of dried milk, powered eggs, rice, beans, peanut butter, canned meat, cheese and canned vegetables.
Go back to that type of food distribution program and no more complaints about what recipients buy. No more bitching about frozen pizzas, prime meat, and junk food purchases.
Think of a real solution instead of just austerity and punishment, the favorite solutions of the very people who caused our current economic mess.

Is there something special about this one that makes her more special and entitled to a free ride? If she isn't able to provide an adequate life for her child maybe adoption would be a better option for all.
Yes, I've seen what they give out at my local food bank. It is far from moldy outdated crap. There is a limited section of fresh vegetables and meat inadditon to the usual fair of cereal, dried beans, canned goods, bread etc.

My family of 4 can usually live off of spending around $250 worth of food every month... to get 1k is insane. I would be eating steaks every night, lol

And just another case of a couple of bad apples ruining it for the other ladies that married young have two kids, no secondary education, get abandoned by a d*ckhead, and can't get anything to support their children.
