I got a letter from Chase that they cannot offer the $350 as it is not available now. I got $300 offer and requested them to bump up to $350 giving the promotional code as suggested. No luck for me..
I haven't heard from Chase after I applied so I called them today and the CSR said he doesn't have the ability to check on the status other than to tell me I should be getting something in the main in the next few days, is that Chase's polite way of telling I got denied?
I had the same problem because I got approved for a chase onepass card in 11/2011. They sent me a rejection letter, but when I called the recon number they ran my credit & approved me over the phone with original $350 offer when I applied. You should give them a call when you get the letter in the mail.
I applied last time there was a $300 Reward Cash Back and didn't hear anything for 10 days. Turns out I had an old credit fraud alert I forgot about placing on there years ago and for some reason it was only on Experian which is what they pulled from. After answering a few questions I got the card and the deal. Just hit it this month, wrote a message through the Secure Message link, and I will be credited 30,000 points on my next billing cycle. A 4 week process but still worth the wait. I got 1500+ points for spending $500 for trying to use it on 5% cash back. I averaged just over 3% so not too bad.
For those of us who got it for $350 (new card holders, not those who already had the $300)
I can confirm 35k pts are on my account via an email I sent.
does anyone know what the intro apr was for the $300/$500 offer?
- was it 0% apr for 15mos? that is what their current $100/$500 offer is on their site

I think 0% is only for the $100 offer. Everything else seems to be the 15.99% and up.
