My divorce thread.

Well as of last weekend it has legally been two years that my wife and I have been separated. In the state of PA she is entitled to a divorce without my signature.
[ Background & Why ]
I have not seen her in almost two years. The last time we spoke was via email a little over a year ago. And the last time I attempted to communicate to her was via U.S. mail last December which she returned unopened.
So I expect to be divorced any day now. I am still paying for her health insurance and I got new cards. So I stopped them off to her attorney this morning.
I hope you all don't mind if I just come in here and vent from time to time.
Thanks for being so nice in the past.

To tell you a funny story, my buddy was the happiest man at his ex-wife's wedding couple of years ago. For over 5 years, he had to pay alimony. The ex would not get married to her "boyfriend" because the guy was a good for nothing slob and the alimony was bigger than both their incomes combined. When he heard about the marriage, he went uninvited to make sure that the marriage occured so that he doesn't have to continue paying.
The reason he wasn't invited was the ex wanted my buddy (who lives in different state) to continue sending her the monthly check.
Best of luck to you.

Sounds like her loss.
The dude was a bump on a log and good for nothin it seems. It's too bad as they have 3 girls together.
But I do know that this is for the best and I take stock in that and you (lux) should too in your situation.
Make the break and find the girl to spend the rest of you life with. =D
