After eleven years of writing certified letters to both my Township and the Owner's of a Shopping Center, of which there were bushes blocking the view of an entrance with Stop Signs, that led from there onto a roadway that I travel on a consistent basis - in which I've almost been t-boned countless times, too numerous to count at this point - FINALLY this Owner of the Shopping Center was finally made to remove said bushes Eleven freaking years of writing letters, going to the Township Building and putting complaints in while in person; and they finally made the Owner's remove the bushes. I drove by there today and saw people removing the bushes, stopped and asked them what they were doing, they said by Order of the Township they were told to remove them, as they were a "hazard" - and I said FINALLY, I'm the one that has been reporting THIS for eleven years The wheels of justice do indeed turn slowly, but with persistence, one is able to accomplish what they set out to do. I began this when my son was 15 yrs old, before he got his driver's permit, he'll soon be 26 yrs old, it took this long It was a "site code violation" of which I kept proving to our Township, via letters, and stating it is a "lawsuit" waiting to happen, if I should get "t-boned" by a vehicle pulling out from this location - what will it take for these to be removed - me getting hit? My last visit to the Township with all my paperwork, finally convinced them, with all my Certified letters/receipts to do something

I am proud of myself that I never gave up this debate/fight with both entities!!!!

I replaced my car radiator today. Correctly. No skinned knuckles or anything.

My Niece and her friend drove her friends car to Vegas the weekend before and the radiator busted 10 miles from the concert the 2nd day (Saturday) and they 1st quoted 6000 bux or something stupid like that to fix it...but then it wound up being 600 bux...I'm guessing 200 for the radiator and 400 to swap it out.

Yes, I replaced the coolant. Hoses too. I didn't bother with the thermostat because it got replaced with the timing belt service last year. Love the discount codes in the Advance Auto Parts thread. It cost me $100 for everything.

Did all that on a C-Note! Not bad at all!!!!
