Congratulations! woot

As for me, I decided that today is the day I start to lose all the weight that I have put back on the last couple of years. I would love to get back down to about 175, which is about 50 pounds away. So as a first step I took a nice 30 minute walk around my neighborhood this morning and plan on doing that every morning from now on, slowly building my endurance. I am pretty sore, but also can't believe how energized I feel just from one walk. Hooray for a healthier me! Big Grin

A serious post from you? Confused

Big Grin Good luck. Stick with it! It won't feel good most of the time like it does when you first start back but think of buying clothes you look awesome in. Big Grin How tall are you?

Groupwave That is very cool! That first step can be the hardest...but once you get into it you'll find that if you have to take a day or two off from it you miss it a lot. hug

Tonight's praise goes out to one gent who's down in the dumps: Owen Wilson.

Owen, even though things may not be looking so rosy right now, I just want to let you know how much I appreciate you. You are one of a new breed of filmmaker; one that turns unconventional into widespread acclaim.

You are relatively accomplished for someone your age, and no one handed you a key to Hollywood, either. You, along with your brother and friend in tow, made a hugely influential and noticeable film. You infused a new brand of quirkiness into the medium, and turned it into a cottage industry.

Please forgive me as I have not seen all of your films, but of the ones I have, some are among my all-time faves. And one of the reasons they are my faves, is your ability to steal a scene, virtually at will.

Who can ever forget your turn as Eli Cash, the not-quite-so-royal neighbor in The Royal Tennenbaums? Or your equally hilarious role playing Kevin Rawley, the over-achieving ex-BF in Meet The Parents? "How's your portfolio, Greg?" Teehee

And whom else could be the one to finally (after 20+ years) bring a palatable vehicle for Jackie Chan to the U.S. market? Think about it: JC is the top martial arts actor in the world, and he needed you to break it big over here. (Well, really it was Chris Tucker, but you were a close 2nd).

Anyway, I could go on and on about how much you entertain people with your unique brand of looks & humor, but you get the point already. I just want you to realize how much you mean, to so many people.

Wishing you a speedy recovery,

~ Blubbery
