1.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States. Contest void in California and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
2.How to enter: You are automatically entered when you complete and transmit the on-screen entry form at www.canadianmis
3.Canadian Mist will choose one (1) weekly winner among those who enter the contest each week. Weekly winners will be chosen by June 4, 11, 18, 25; July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; August 6, 13, 20, 27; and September 4 and notified by phone or e-mail. Each weekly winner will receive outdoor gear in the following order: Week 1 – Backpack (ARV $55), Week 2 - Backpack (ARV $55), Week 3 - Backpack (ARV $55), Week 4 - Backpack (ARV $55), Week 5 – Sleeping Bag (ARV $75), Week 6 - Sleeping Bag (ARV $75), Week 7 - Sleeping Bag (ARV $75) , Week 8 - Sleeping Bag (ARV $75), Week 9 - Sleeping Bag (ARV $75), Week 10 – Tent (ARV $80), Week 11 - Tent (ARV $80), Week 12 - Tent (ARV $80), Week 13 - Tent (ARV $80), Week 14 - kayak (ARV:$500). Canadian Mist will choose the gift sent to the winner with exception of the kayak which will be given away the last week of the promotion beginning August 27, 2012. Winner must be of legal drinking age.
4.No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be eligible, nor will your entry be eligible if it is lost, late, illegible, misaddressed or otherwise misdirected. Electronic entries that are misdirected, illegible, or not received due to technical malfunction will not be eligible. Limit one entry per person and one entry per e-mail address. Anyone mentioned/included in submissions must be 21 years of age or older. All entries become the property of Brown-Forman, and Brown-Forman may use them and edit them as it sees fit.
5.Eligibility: Employees of Brown-Forman, their affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as advertising/promotion agencies and their immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible. This promotion is void wherever prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. In the event that the contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Sponsor or Administrator reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Contest, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, Sponsor and Administrator shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action. You must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible. Contest void in California and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
6.SELECTION PROCESS: All entries will be reviewed by Brown-Forman and Canadian Mist. Submissions which meet the entry requirements/guidelines and are approved by Brown-Forman/Canadian Mist may be posted on the CanadianMist.com/outdoor website and/or the Canadian Mist Facebook site. The winners will be notified no later than seven days after the selection process.
7.Weekly Winners: Fourteen (13) weekly Winners will receive a piece of outdoor equipment ranging in value from $55-$500. There shall be no substitution or transfer of prizes. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Taxes and registration on the prizes are the responsibility of the prizewinner. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value.
8.All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Taxes and registration on prizes are the responsibility of the PRIZE winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted without Sponsor's permission or where required by law. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. All federal, state, and local laws apply. If the prize becomes unavailable Brown-Forman may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
9.PARTICIPATION: Participants agree that by submitting their entry they release the Sponsor from any liability in connection with their computer equipment/software. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in this promotion.
10.CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES: Each weekly winner will be notified either by mail, email or by phone no more than one day after the drawing and will be instructed how to claim the prize. Winners will be required to claim his or her prize within 10 days of notification and may have to sign an affidavit before a notary and return it to the address stated in the notification. If the winner's notarized Affidavits and Releases are not returned within 10 days of notification, the Winner will have waived any claim to the prize.
By accepting a prize, any winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman and its affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers, and promotional and advertising agencies, from any/all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in any promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman/Canadian Mist for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation where permitted.
The Sponsor and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Canadian Mist reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel terminate or suspend the contest. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt.
