Moot, we had a Tornado touchdown early this morning!! Finally got the power back on. I am fine so do not worry.

Dude, it seriously sounded like someone was knocking on every part of the house. We had no damage here but the main town did. Really sad. It still hasn't recovered from the flood 2 years ago.

They're calling for 40 MPH winds here, with a tornado watch in effect until 10 pm.
The storm is still about 4 or 5 miles west of Charlotte, and should be here soon.

Please be safe. That wind was extremely bad here and the hail was the size of softballs.

The storm finally got here. A few minutes of strong wind, followed by heavy rain with very small hail. Thankfully, it wasn't any of that huge stuff. But this storm is about 200 miles wide, and moving slowly. It will be here for a while, and the second wave hasn't even hit us, yet.

We're good in Charlotte. There were a few trees blown down and into houses around town, and about 7K people lost power last night, but Casa de Frog remained entirely safe all evening.

I'm sooo glad you guys are ok!!!! hug We have horrible wind that started last night and is still going strong. I'm actually shocked that we still have power..... trees and large limbs down overnight across the region.
