I knew I'd eventually have a responsible way to get rid of them, until I found out about BB's program, the only places around here wanted money to recycle monitors. I have a voucher for one free monitor recycling, but that place isn't conveniently located, and it seems better to unload three at a time versus one.

Apparently some of the stuff varies by state, if you go to their front page, there's a link to Recycling at the bottom, and a drop-down menu on that page lets you know about the specifics (that's where it told me only three items per day, which they confirmed when I called). You just take the stuff up to the customer service counter, I grabbed a cart to haul the TV and big monitor in.

Nobody is buying 25" CRT TVs that only have one coaxial input, even non-Klingons.

Yep, the big old tube TVs. This one wasn't even that good when I bought it, I just wanted a TV for my dorm on base, and it was a display model. It didn't even have the red/yellow/white input plugs. Still worked, but I already have a nice Sony 27" down in the basement for the kids to play Gamecube on.

We used it up until we bought this house, it's just been sitting in the basement for the last seven years. I'm working on clearing out the basement in hopes of adding another bathroom.

the sighing lady at work has been complaining that she's bored and doesn't have enough work to do. but whenever i give her something to do, she starts sighing laugh out loud

plus, i've somehow sort of become her manager now. wtf? Annoyed i don't get paid for this
