I had a package marked as delivered that was never delivered. I contacted USPS and they got an investigation going and said the local PO would contact me. They never did. I called them, and they has no knowledge of anything and said that it must have gotten taken from the porch. However, someone was home and saw no package get delivered. He then got super defensive, "Our delivery people have a high level of integrity!" and said he'd talk to the postal worker to see if they remember anything. Awesome. I have a feeling I'm SOL.

Same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. After a few months, the package mysteriously showed up at the same time our mail was dropped off.....you know....only 60 or 70 days late.

I think it's both, but that crap that just happened in the thread I started about the cop killing a guy was nothing but personal attacks. Not that I mind, but I need to just quit responding.
