I don't have time to do a single thing I have thought about doing to other people. That said, I have been doing a lot of calisthenics with my stomach since I don't have the time to work out as much given my current responsibilities.

Today I was stretching my lower abs, and.....pop!!! Lower ab (the long one), right side. What's your diagnosis doc? Am I going to have to suffer with a boner that points west all of the time now? I heard the pop, and I felt like a rubberband that just broke. Walking feels like I got kicked in the nuts.

Up until i hit my 30s I never had to work my abs much so they aren't as conditioned as everything else.

That doesn't sound good. "Pop" is usually a bad sign. Any bleeding or bruising? Prior injuries? Painful to the touch?

I get something with similar symptoms, but I fear it's not the same thing. I'll have one ab cramp up--always just one, but not always the same one--and it's quite painful and strange looking. Turns out that 3-5 grams of taurine stops that from happening completely. (Without the taurine, it'll happen at least 80% of the time when I'm doing ab exercises to failure--and it only happens when I'm exercising hard; never any other time.)

I don't think that'll fix your problem, but the stuff is cheap ($20-$30 / kilo) and there's no danger of side effects. In worst case, you can use it to save the lives of vegan cats suffering from taurine deficiency. (Taurine is only found in meat and cats will die without it.)

But if you're seeing bleeding or bruising, it's probably something a doctor should take a look at to make sure it doesn't need some kind of surgery to keep it from getting worse. (Losing the integrity of your abdominal wall would be bad.)

BTW, to marinate chicken my FIL puts a shitlioad of lemon juice and lemon pepper seasoning and then grills it. Best chicken EVER!
